Beautiful property, great for a family of 4, but the location...

First off this is a great condo. It was clean and had all the amenities that a family of 4 would need for a week's long stay. It is close to everything in Poipu and the beach is a short walk down the street that's in front of the condo. The view is second to none. But Ho'Onani Street is a literal stone's throw from your patio... I typically don't try to dwell on the negative but if you like your privacy, unit 12 is not the place for you. 5 out of the 8 nights, there seemed to be a gathering of the locals on the street directly outside of the ocean patio door. Loud music, thumping base, screeching tires, laughing, screaming...this would last until after sunset and things would quiet down. The police seem pretty disinterested in stopping any of it. The locals are so close you can basically have a conversation with them from your patio. So just words of warning. The property itself is great- there are plenty of condos to choose from on the property, so maybe choose one that's not on Ho'Onani Road. We chose the property because you open your sliders and all you see is a panoramic of the Pacific, which quite honestly was worth it even with the nighttime noise.

Lovely quiet place

We wanted a very nice experience so we paid for for villa 12. It was all very good. My only hesitation on scoring is no working dishwasher. Management said it wold be 8 weeks to replace, but if you read guest comments it hasn't worked for at least 8 months. Not too big deal but we had to unload and wash all our dishes as we weren't informed beforehand.
