The hotel is very well situated a short walk from the main square. The hotel was very clean and the facilities were good, although the lift was out of action during my stay, and I was on the 6th floor, which was my only issue

Spent Easter in krakow,the hotel hide chocolate Easter candies in our room (sweet touch). Walkable to many historic sites + variety of dining options (from street food to Michelin star restaurant). Breakfast (find alternative,not good). Would highly recommend.

Great location, everything is in walking distance. Reception staff were friendly & super helpful. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Hotel is a bit dated but is very clean. Breakfast buffet has something for everyone & Karol makes a good latte. Planning another trip later this year & will be staying here again.

Amazing boutique hotel close to main square

The staff at this boutique hotel are amazing! They are very friendly, they will make you coffee or tea anytime of day, and they even went the extra kilometer and set up Easter baskets for their guests. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the main square in the old town. The room was very clean and comfortable as well. I would absolutely stay here again, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

I love krakow!

Just want to start off by saying both the reception ladies working there were very nice and gave me good recommendations for food upon arrival, they explain how to find currency exchange & how to navigate the city, and just overall felt very welcome for my first time ever in krakow and the country of Poland this hotel is located close to the train as well very walkable

Top location

Good hotel in a very good location just on the outside of the old town and only 10-15 mins walk to the Jewish quarter. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for guided tour to Auschwitz as one of the pickup/drop-off spots is very close to the hotel. Did not try the breakfast option. Comfort-wise it was a bit lacking. The mattress was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. The air-conditioning was quite poor and it hot in the room. It helped to leave the windows open but as it's located on a very busy road, the noise was too much. Overall, it was a positive experience.

I prefer small well equipped rooms over spacious but uncomfortable rooms, and so this worked well for me. It's a well organized hotel with almost all street-facing rooms, but it's super quiet. Good natural light and generally welcoming. Good breakfast. Probably some of the most pleasant and attractive desk staff you'll find anywhere.

The staff at the hotel are so nice and helpful. It’s charming and you get the feel of the 1940’s. If you’re looking to be close to old town this location is perfect. There is also easy access to public transport.

Perfect place in Krakow

Hotel Wielopole was as good as all the reviews said. Perfect location, friendliest staff, good food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Krakow, which I hope to do with the whole family someday.

Older hotel but well maintained and very clean. Breakfast had many options. Room was not large (we had a balcony room but view was of hotel across the street). Our friend’s room was larger and had a sofa. Prices were reasonable. Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Very convenient location. They can set up tours for you although we did not use that option. Lots of tours have meeting spot about 1 minute walk away. We ate in restaurant one evening and they had great pizza selection as well as hamburgers and some other items. I had a hamburger with cranberry sauce and onion rings on it and it was fabulous. About 20 minutes walk from train station, from Wawel Castle and even closer to Old Town Square. Would definitely stay here again if in Krakow.
