We reserved a villa with a private pool. Upon arrival, the pool was full of algae along the sides, steps and bottom of the pool. The maintenance manager tried to address the issue and have it cleaned but there was still algae along the steps and sides of the pool. We were only staying a few days so we never got to use the pool. We tried to spend some time at the main pool but encountered people smoking, whining children, and a pile of "crap" on the side of the pool. When we took a picture of the little "present" left behind, the worker said..."looks like crap" and did not seem too phased by seeing it. The unit was average other than the pool issue, which was the main reason we booked the location. I have to commend Expedia for at least giving us credit because we did not get what we paid for when we booked this unit. I was also disappointed that the facility was not "on the beach" even though I saw a statement that it was. It is actually across the street. Bonaire was a very relaxing and beautiful destination

We stayed at Grand Windsock Jan 2-10 2024. We would definitely return here. Had a great view of the ocean. We were in B11 in a 3 bedroom apartment. We rented a car but it is in walking distance to Bachelor & Donkey Beach. Also right across the street from “The beach” where you can eat & snorkel & watch beautiful sunsets. No complaints all about the apartment. Was very comfortable. The staff were lovely. They clean every 4 days which was fine. They picked us up & returned us to the airport for a small fee. They got our first night of groceries with the staples so that we had our breakfast & lunch the next day which was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay! Airport shuttle is 25$ btw and not free. Make sure that is something to consider if booking a place in bonaire. The apt is equipped with all Utensils and cutlery for you to cook your own meals if desired. Also if you plan to stay for more than 3 days , you can rent a car from them. Transportation around is a hassle but avoidable. Taxis can be arranged for you. One way trip to downtown is 20$. You can also get information for rental scooters.

We booked a three bedroom apt through Expedia. Immediately after securing payment we were texted by the property stating that two rooms would be locked because we were only two. We contacted both parties who made changes to difficult. When we arrived the rooms were unlocked?? I spoke to a receptionist who stated that Expedia just sells properties and don't tell their clients the rules. Very Strange. Regardless we has a great stay. Room was clean, adequate and the pool was wonderful. If you stay here don't expect much from the staff. Mostly young and very flat. When we asked questions we were amazed how unhelpful they were. With that being said we planned out our trip prior to our arrival and had a great time. We did eat at the hotel restaurant and it was our worst meal on the island. Please stay away
