Accomodation was clean and nice.Bed was comfortable. Shuttle to the waterpark and train station was a great help. The shuttle delays sometimes.A toaster and fan would have been good in the apartment and a microwave It was warm during our stay for a few days and there was no A/c or air-condition so couldn't sleep properly. Also,didn't sleep well on our first night due to noisy and inconsiderate neighbours who decided to shout and play music at 1am which was very annoying. The changing room at the waterpark could do with regular cleaning. Overall we had a good stay.

What I liked: I loved everything about the property! It had a great layout, spacious rooms, and a lovely outdoor area. What was unique: The unique feature for me was the overall vibe and design—it felt really modern yet cozy. What I didn’t like: The only downside was the grill; it didn’t seem as functional or appealing as the rest of the property.

Meine Erfahrung im Tropical Islands – Enttäuschend Ich habe drei Nächte im Tropical Islands verbracht (Samstag bis Montag) und bin am Dienstag abgereist. Leider war mein Aufenthalt sehr enttäuschend, vor allem wegen schlechter Organisation. Schon beim Check-in begann das Chaos: Wir kamen um 13:00 Uhr an und mussten über 1,5 Stunden warten. Trotz unseres hohen Alters (über 70 Jahre) wurde keine Rücksicht genommen. Beim Check-in bat ich um ein Haus in der Nähe der Halle, da ich nicht gut zu Fuß bin. Ich sagte sogar, dass ich einen Aufpreis zahlen würde, doch meine Bitte wurde ignoriert, und wir bekamen ein Haus, das viel zu weit entfernt war. Zusätzlich gibt es keinen Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Man muss draußen parken und dann bei Kälte zu Fuß gehen – eine Zumutung, besonders für ältere Menschen. Am Wochenende war es extrem überfüllt. In der Südsee gab es keinen einzigen freien Platz, sodass wir sehr weit weg sitzen mussten. Fazit: Nicht empfehlenswert, vor allem nicht für ältere Menschen. Schlechte Organisation, keine Rücksicht auf Gäste und viel zu überfüllt!

Es ging wieder mal kein Chip als Schlüssel trotz 4 x an der Info . Falsch Infos am Check in wir haben extra gefragt ob wir Frühstück dazu buchen können oder ob im Hanger Frühstück gibt der Mitarbeiter meinte ja . Doch das war dann doch nicht so. Kippenstümel überall an der Terrasse Wände mit blutflecken voll von Mücken. Im Dom drinn auch sehr schmutzig da hängt teilweise echt viel staubmäuse an den Lichterketten.

Very busy yet accommodating nonetheless (once you get past the queue :). Really safe and nice feeling for a family trip! We staid in the houses on site - that on its own an adventure :) Also, food and drinks need a separate mentioning - fantastic and we are picky eaters.

Amazonia house was dirty, the grass was not cut, and had ants in the kids room. There is was no internet connectivity which would not had been a problem if it was advertised as such. The DOME was nice and the kids enjoyed it but the price of food was exorbitant . . . 14 euros for premium cheesburger! There are not enough locations for towel rentals which is a problem if you are flying in from another location meaning you need to use you bath towel at the pool. Overall, the location is mediocre at best.

Highly recommended

Really enjoyed our mini break. Although many speak minimal English, Staff really helpful and will direct you to senior multilingual staff! Food was great. Dome obviously warm with tropical temperatures. External pool at the Amazonia was fun. I felt relaxed. Accommodation clean and homey! Bed and pillows should be updated to make it comfortable! Overall I will definitely go back. I will rate it very good!

Fabulous spot, we stayed in the Sunrise homes which were spacious and really clean, the dome is fantastic, my kids love the water so were in heaven.

I stayed at the Sunrise homes which was spacious for a family of 4. The property was well equipped and had everything we needed. However getting into the property was difficult. We were given a fob bracelet which we couldn’t get access to the property with. When we checked in, it was already evening and trying to navigate location of the property was difficult, let alone not being able to access the home. I had to travel back to Tropical Islands dome by foot to sort out this problem. When I approached the manager Nolte about my issue he just disregarded my problem with no apology. Please be aware of the fob bracelets that they give to you.

Our second time there and it was as good as we remembered. Very relaxing with the kids fully occupied all the time. Thought it very good value for money. The only small criticism is that the food at the buffet seemed to have more choice and variety the last time we were there.

I understand that the property is in an open area but during summer, it can get really hot inside the sunrise units that we stayed in. The climate control is only for heating, with it’s price point I would expect air conditioning to be part of its standard amenity. But other than that- the actual dome is nice, large pools, nice restaurants, friendly staff. It was a good place, not great but good
