The child- and family-friendly holiday house Seitter in an exclusive quiet location and with solid furnishings can be described as new and offers on 138m2

The entire upper floor and staircase enchant with their light wood paneling and give a cozy existence. There are two wonderful double rooms, each with a TV, an equally charming twin room and a modern bathroom with shower. The morning sun greets you through the large south-east facing balcony with a view of the Schmittenstein.

On the ground floor, the spacious anteroom leads to another elegant double room with a tiled stove and a modern bathroom / toilet with a bathtub. The is also on the ground floor

the additional TV, table stove, tiled stove and a comfortable corner couch let you linger here for a long time in an elegant atmosphere.

For reasons of sustainability and so that many guests feel comfortable with us for a long time, we maintain a strict ban on smoking and a strict ban on pets!


OUTSIDE

Already in front of the front door you can enjoy a fabulous mountain panorama at 890 meters above sea level and the spacious flat green area around the house offers plenty of space for sunbathing and barbecuing with the existing garden furniture in summer and building a snowman / bar in winter on 1000m2.

Parents can let their children play outdoors relaxed and carefree, as there is no traffic at the end of the cul-de-sac.

There is ample parking space at the large driveway and wide driveway.

A garden shed offers you the opportunity to lock your bikes.

On the house bench, a little rushing brook also invites you to linger.

The Ferienhaus Seitter is located in a sunny and idyllic quiet location at 890 meters above sea level directly on the ski slope above the valley station Gaißau, in the Salzburg region.

The Gaißau-Hintersee ski area is an insider tip for winter sports enthusiasts and the natural snow slopes delight numerous winter sports enthusiasts every year.

Gaißau is an excellent starting point for various leisure activities, such as hiking and mountain bike tours and much more. , and the Mozart city of Salzburg can be reached in just 25 kilometers.

The optimal transport connections with the nearby motorway connections to the A1 Westautobahn and A10 Tauernautobahn enable all guests to travel comfortably.

Great property in a stunning location

Eight of us, including three kids, stayed at Konrad's home for four nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. It is a great location for exploring Salzburg and Berchtesgaden (you will want to be traveling by car) and Konrad's home is beautiful and comfortable. The only thing nicer than the home is the amazing scenery you get to wake up to every morning.

An impressive property

If you have a rent car with you and do not mind driving for 0.5-1.5 hours to nearby popular sightseeing spots, this property would be a perfect choice for you. This property was great for our family group. We had 7 adults; 2 couples, and 3 single nephews, so having 4 bedrooms was very nice. We appreciated having WiFi. We did our breakfasts and most of our dinners in the home, and took lunches with us. It was very quiet and peaceful, and we felt safe. We appreciated having a washing machine. We traveled to various locations around Salzburg, so staying here added time to our travels. It would have helped to have instructions on how to use the stove and washing machine, but we were happy with the home.

Das Haus war super, die Umgebung ist wunderschön, aber das mit dem Skigebiet war nichts. Der Liftbetreiber ist seit 2022 insolvent. Schade : (. Siehe: "Salzburger Skigebiet Gaißau-Hintersee steht vor dem endgültigen Aus" (derstandard.de - 16. April 2022, 11:02). Es lohnt sich nach der kostenlosen TennengauPlus Card zu fragen (https://www.tennengau.com/erlebnis/tennengau-plus-card/), nach dem Tourismusbüro wird es analog oder digital von dem Gastgeber ausgestellt.

Gemütlicher Rückzugsort in den Bergen

Wir haben mit zwei Familien eine wundervolle Woche in einer wunderbaren, sehr gut eingerichteten Unterkunft verbracht! Der Ausblick auf die Berge ist sehr schön, die Lage sehr ruhig und doch ist man in kurzer Zeit bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten, einfach toll!

Konrad is a great host. He answered all of questions promptly and in great detail and was kind enough to do some shopping for us in advance of our arrival (on a Sunday when grocery stores were closed). The surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, especially in the late springtime when the fields are filled with wildflowers and the region isn't filled with skiers. The house itself was clean and comfortable, and suited the needs of two couples who wanted separate bathrooms. I have two suggestions, however: 1. Install window screens since bugs seem to love the property as much as humans do. 2. Put non-skid pads under the throw rugs.

Ruim huis prachtig gelegen indien er sneeuw ligt helemaal super aan skipiste

De woning is ruim en typisch Oostenrijks ingericht. Complete keuken. Genoeg bergruimte. Wij hebben het kwa sneeuw minder goed getroffen.. anders fantastisch aan de skipiste.. nu moesten we toch wel 50 minuten rijden om een goed skigebied te vinden . Grote supermarkt is ook 20 minuten rijden, maar er is een mogelijkheid om de eerste behoeften te kopen bij een "dorfbox" een klein stukje terug in het dorp. Wij hebben genoten van deze bestemming!

Wonderful setting, fabulous home

The location of this property is outstanding. We visited during October, and were able to hike directly out the front door through rolling farmland and steep ski slopes. Very, very quiet, which we loved. Loads of stars at night. The home is equipped with everything anyone would need for a comfortable stay. Just a couple of minutes from the town of Gaissau, but we grocery shopped in Hallein before arriving. Would highly recommend this property, especially for families.

One word... Paradise!

Like all the houses that I've booked through Home Away and VRBO, the pictures do not do it justice! We were 6 adults in that house for 6 days and we had plenty of room. The house is bigger than the pictures make it seem! We visited Austria in the middle of summer. You wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and the cow bells from the mountains... It's almost magical! I can only imagine what this place is like in winter! The whole process of booking, paying and getting there was easy and fast. Anytime we had questions, Konrad would answer within the hour. We checked-in on Saturday at 3pm. Yes, there's a supermarket in the small town of Gaißau but it closes at noon on Saturday's and is closed on the Sunday.... So, the waitress at the Inn suggested we go to the big supermarket InterSpar in Hallein. It has everything you can imagine! So my tip to you would be to maybe stop there before you get to Gaißau. It's right off the highway getting there from Vienna. The house is fully stocked! So it's very easy to cook meals. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very spacious and loads of closets to put your things away! We took day trips (no more than an hour drive) from the house and found it was very well situated for everything we wanted to see. We went to Wolfgangsee... Probably the most beautiful lake we've every seen. We liked it so much we went twice! We went to Hallstatt, Eagles Nest, Salzburg and we also drove on the Postalm scenic route. I would recommend this house to anyone interested in spending their vacation in Austria. Thanks again Konrad for letting us use your beautiful house!

Perfect family holiday in Salzkammergut

Wir waren im Feburar 2016 im wirklichen sehr schönen Ferienhaus mit Freunden und Kindern. Das Haus bietet alles was die Urlaubstage angenehm macht. Die Einrichtung ist jochwertig, die Küche vollständig und die Umgebung wie es sich für ein Ferienhaus in Österreich gehört. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc, wer aber Ruhe und die Natur sucht wird dort fündig. Das Skigebiet ist nicht sehr groß, aber wir konnten mit den Skiern am Abend bist auf die Terrase des Hauses fahren und am morgen direkt zum Lift abfahren. Ein klasse Lage um ein paar Tage im Schnee zu verbringen. Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei alle Dingen die anstehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)
