This is a luxurious hotel that is very grand and spacious with huge rooms and a stunning rooftop bar. The staff were extremely kind and quick to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast was very generous and was in a nice setting. Overall we had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Unfortunately there were just a few things that could have made our stay better for the price we paid. The room itself had a very good layout, however it wasn't 100% clean when we arrived and the shower (which in principle was very cool and high tech) didn't work very well/hadn't been maintained. We could also hear next door very loudly while in the bathroom, as if they were in the same room! The pool had a great view of the twin towers but it would have been nicer if the glass panels had been clean or the facility had been outdoors with a bar or similar! We got the feeling that this hotel was less for tourists and more for luxury residents/business trips so I suppose it makes sense why the pool was quiet and private. I would just be wary of that if booking for a holiday. Lastly, it is almost impossible to walk to anywhere close to the hotel. Even heading to the Pavilion shopping centre directly opposite is quite tricky to get to. However this isn't a major inconvenience as the Grab taxi service is so smooth across KL! Overall, this is a peaceful and luxurious hotel with great staff and service, however at times it feels not very well suited as a holiday destination.

Outstanding!

The room was gorgeous with incredible views. The staff from the moment we arrived were kind and attentive. The room had been decorated for us with birthday balloons and a piece of cake each - this was totally unexpected but such a nice touch. The staff were really accommodating when we wanted to watch the sunrise on the roof, something I highly recommend doing. We can't wait to stay again later in the year :)

A brilliant choice!

Surprising small hotel, you would think it was huge. Rooms on 56 floor. Beautiful room and fabulous bathroom. Lovely, personal service. Vertigo bar is a must and very reasonably priced. Best views ever over Petronas towers! The pool is amazing too and was empty. The location opposite the Pavilion shopping mall and near other attractions is really good. A lovely hotel, highly recommended.

I had a very nice stay at Banyan Tree KL. The room was very spacious and I loved the bathtub and bathroom. Comfort level was high, staff was excellent. Lots of little attentions in the room (essential oil, yoga mat, smart toilet - scared me at first!). There is a nice pool and the breakfast was excellent. It's pricey, but a nice treat!

Misleading post by hotels.com

The pictures provided through hotels.ca was misleading as I primarily booked this hotel for the view of the klcc towers from the swimming pool. On the pictures through hotels.com the two towers are perfectly visible. However there is now a building that's come up which blocks that promised view. This really defeat the purpose for me as traders was a cheaper hotel with a better view.
