The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the Pavilion mall which is fine if you want to eat in the food court or you can walk outside the mall for more restaurants. The hotel does not serve alcohol and we found it a little inconvenient to have to walk that far when we would like to relax with a beer in the hotel. This wasn't mentioned on the details on Expedia, otherwise we may have chosen somewhere else to stay. The lounge area in the hotel is fine but a little soul less, you can get a soft drink there, however a can of sprite is about £4 GBP which is extremely expensive compared to anywhere else in the area. They could perhaps offer a range of non alcoholic cocktails to make it a more appealing venue and attract more guests. The pool area is lovely for a dip. The hotel also charges a tourist tax of 10 myr per night which was not mentioned in the hotel details on Expedia either. The rooms are tired and the air con is very noisy but effective. The bed was very comfortable but we could hear our neighbours through the thin walls. Buffet breakfast was very good too. Overall not a bad hotel, and good value for money but it has so much potential to be better.
