Great hotel, a bit out of town

A very nice hotel at a very fair price. We did make an error in not checking the location. It is about 30 minutes out of central Kurashiki. This required a local train which runs every 30 mins or so. There were some restaurants close by and we both enjoyed the Onsen baths. So swings and roundabouts but enjoyed our stay.

The room was very dusty. Beds were hard and the pillow was a joke. Itโ€™s like sleeping without one. Transportation was difficult unless we wanted to ride the ultra slow train. The staff was nice and helpful but I would not stay at this location again.
