We arrived at the Utsikten hotel in Geiranger to find we had no reservation and they were full. It turns out that Expedia had made the reservation in a hotel of the same name in a distant city in another part of . Luckily we were able to find a room at the Videseter where we had stayed before. I cannot find this 5-night trip on my Expedia page.

Great hotel with wonderful view.

Amazing hotel with a great view over the valley. We had a family room which was basically a nice apartment with a bedroom and living room with kitchenette. Free parking. Good breakfast a little conditioned by corona but everything indivually packed. The only problem for us was that we only stayed one night. We will certainly come back to this hotel if we come back to this area.

Easy check in, code for door arrived as a text message. Room nice and clean and plenty of coffee and tea. Breakfast was awesome and we had a great view from our table.

Fantastic hotel

We booked a family room which turned out to be an excellent arrangement. A large separate bedroom with double bed for us and a sofa bed for the kids in the lounge area. The lounge area included a small kitchen to make our own snacks (useful, as eating out can be pricy in Norway). The hotel lobby was very well laid out, comfortable and had a welcoming atmosphere. All of the staff were more than wiling to help and arranged for the museum on site to be opened specially for us. Food was excellent with locally sourced produce at a reasonable price (cheaper to eat in the hotel than elsewhere), with food suitable for adults and children. The view down the valley was amazing and every room has a balcony with a valley view. We will definitely be returning here.

Vi hadde en overnatting på utsikten ifm besøk av familie i nærområde. Flott rom, med utsikt og godt renhold. Vi hadde med hund, og betalte et gebyr på 250 kr. God frokost og et godt utvalg. Hyggelig personal og enkel innsjekk og utsjekk.

Fint hotell med hyggelig betjening og fint rom. Eneste grunn til at jeg overnattet var at det var halve prisen av hotell i Flekkefjord. En stor omvei med dårlig og svingete vei for å komme seg dit. Som sagt, fint hotell med utsikt men med ganske håpløs beliggenhet.
