Cute inn next to the river with campfire and BBQ pits for guests to use. Great location for access to Sierra-at-Tahoe. The only downside is the noise from upstairs if you happen to get a room on the first floor.

I’m a little spoiled when it comes to hotels—I typically stay in 3-star-and-above properties that cost $200+ per night. But the reviews were so impressive that I decided to give it a try, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The rooms were spotless, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location right on the river was beautiful. One of my favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the pre-lit fire pits, listening to the river flow by under the stars. A wonderful experience, and I’d happily stay here again.
