Thank you Andy, Denis and the rest of the staff at Tingle Creek. Our 2 night stay was great, nice rooms, and common areas, great breakfast. Andy was super helpful with suggestions for getting around and things to see. God Bless Denis, the morning we were checking out we could not find the key to our rental car. Over an hour of searching our suitcases, car, parking lot and rooms did not turn up the key. We were in the process of getting in touch with the rental company, when Denis found our key, it had accidentally gotten into the trash. Highly recommend Tingle Creek.

Great Stay

Great base for exploring the Isle of Skye. Stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and in good condition and comfortable. We had a good view of the lake from our room which was beautiful. The bathroom was spacious and clean and very modern. The breakfast was also very tasty! Andrew and Dennis were absolutely fantastic. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The only thing to have in mind, which by no means is the hotels fault, is the limited dining options around. In particular after 8PM. However, there is a coop very close by that is open till 10PM. We also loved the information about the tradition Scottish tartans they had throughout the hotel.

Beautiful scenery and very convenient to Isle of Skye. Just a 5 minute drive to the bridge. Fantastic parking and wonderful host provided a great experience for us for 3 days. Breakfast was tasty. Highly recommended. If you like Indian food, the Taste of India just across the bridge is simply amazing.

Tingle Creek was a magical place; the scenery was so beautiful and near the rocky coast. The beds were so lovely and the bathroom newly renovated. The option for dinner we went to was one of the best meals on our trip. Andy was very interested in making our stay positive. It is close to the train from Inverness as well. The open lounge made us want to curl up with a good book and a fire. We'd love to see what it is like in the winter. Absolutely a wonderful place! Andi and Jim from BC, Canada.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was very good and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely overnight stay and would definitely return. Hotel was easy to find and within minutes of the Skye Road bridge. Hotel emailed check in details and recommendations for restaurants to try for dinner. This was perfect for us very useful. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean and overlooking the loch/sea. Bathroom was clean and served its purpose, lovely thick bath towels and some toiletries included. Breakfast was lovely next day. A traditional Scottish breakfast plus all the continental choices you could want including fresh fruit, jams, cereals, fresh juices, toast etc. served in a large dining room again overlooking the grounds and sea. The evening before we enjoyed a lovely time playing a board game supplied by the hosts in the adjoining lounge. There were really comfy sofas and chairs, complete with a small highland cow seated on a chair! Hosts were lovely and saw that the guests were very well catered for.

Cute little hotel

Cute little hotel. The room was comfortable. The lobby is nice and spacious but for some reason they lock it at 9:30 pm. A bit of a problem for travellers with jet lag. Breakfast was ok with very diluted coffee. Make dinner reservation around especially if you are there on sunday. Not many choices around and no food to buy at the hotel.

The hotel was very clean , comfortable and finished to a high standard. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and he was always happy to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel has wonderful views and the lounge and dining room allow you to relax and make full use of the views The breakfasts were also tasty and plentyful.
