The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms are tiny. Its just like a capsule hotel with a bathroom. Breakfast is so, so. Other than the scrambled eggs and miso soup, the rest of the food are non appetizing. The bread roll was surprisingly soft, tho. Staff were ok. The window in the room was useless since it was facing a "prison wall." I felt claustrophobic. For a budget hotel, I guess it is a slight upgrade for a capsule hotel. I probably not going to stay again.

Price was low. Room was small but comfortable and everything I needed. Almost booked somewhere else but this place had an onsen and was only slightly more. I'm glad I stayed here, worth the extra cost. Breakfast was good! I would easily stay here again!!

We found that the rooms were very nice and the location of the hotel was convenient. The only blemish is that there weren't enough washing machines and the dryer did not dry clothes even after running it for 3 cycles.

Everything was good! There are plenty of restaurants around the area, convenience store, and even groceries. Train station across the hotel. Staff very accommodating. The only downside is there is only 2 units of washing machine and 1 microwave for all the guest. Long wait line just to do laundry and heat up food. Lastly on our last night there was a guest trying to open our door,Which scared my family . The staff wasn’t really helpful about what happened. But in general happy with our stay.

Awesome stay

The hotel is excellent and staff are very friendly. We were arrived earlier and were able to check in earlier. The hotel provided free coffee daily.

Excellent stay in Kyoto

This was a lovely hotel during our stay in Kyoto. It was close to many things: 7/11, supermarkets, train stations, subway stations, shopping streets and food options all within walking distance. They offered lots of free amenities such as coffee, ice machine and they also had laundry facilities (this did have a queue but was good to have). The staff were always friendly, always said hello to us and topped up any amenities we wanted. The rooms were on the smaller side but very good value for money, clean and well kept. Would stay here again and recommend to friends/family.

This hotel is tiny! Only 160 rooms, it's very stylish and budget friendly. The room seemed very small at first, feels a little bit like being in a submarine, but it was actually fine, clean and modern after we adjusted we were quite happy, nice and quiet and private. It has an onsen free of charge but only big enough for a few people, but since there is only a small capacity for the hotel it's okay. The laundry is free and performed very well, you just need to provide the detergent. We were also offered the breakfast buffet at half price since the kitchen had recently opened, so we couldn't refuse, the food was delicious with many options. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall recommended if you get a good price!
