Lovely hotel to stay in. Great location close to Sanjo stations which was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was great. Would stay here again without hesitation

Koko Hotel Kyoto Sanjo was a wonderful hotel stay. The atmosphere was great, the staff were warm and accommodating, and breakfast was a treat. The hotel itself is located right near the markets, and is walking distance from Nishiki. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Kyoto again. A big thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome.

We would stay in this hotel again in the future. They have all the toiletries that you would need and are extremely hospitable and friendly. The hotel is tucked in a more quiet neighborhood but is very close to public transportation (~5 min walk). There is also a convenience store nearby. Overall, it is great for families and those wanting a more relaxed yet clean place to rest after walking all day!

I like everything about the place and the people who work they are so friendly, and the breakfast every morning was great. The one thing I did not like was that it takes 3 days to change the bed; otherwise,e the best place to go when you visit Japan. I am going to take my family next time there, too. Very convenient location. A few minutes from sanjo train station and buses. Walkable to gion and shopping. In a quiet street and they offer free drinks at the cafe throughout the day. I highly recommend.

This was a great hotel overall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and rooms are bigger than typical Japanese hotels. The breakfast is surprisingly really good and well worth it. Free drinks from 12pm-8pm which was great when checking in. Microwaves in common area as well. Walkable to Gion, Nishiki market and metro. There are several local restaurants to eat and convenience stores close by. Quiet residential area with nice big Buddhists temple close by. Highly recommended!!!

great location (close to station, centre and was quiet), friendly and attentive staff that was available 24/7, buffet was delicious (japanese and western menu), spacious and clean room, goodies available (hair tie, pocket hairbrush etc… and appliances to to borrow like iron and nightwear etc…), laundry and drying machine available 24/7 and free drinks available from 12pm to 10pm. overall, great hotel, i recommend.
