It is in the heart of Gion district. A lot of food options close by. The whole hotel is covered in tatami mat. We needed to take off our shoes at the door. We had a room with a private bathtub. The hottub was super relaxing. All the utilities and skin care products were from good brands. I think this is a really nice luxury hotel for my friend and myself. We love this place!

Highly recommend, definitely get the breakfast and dinner, was really good for all nights with plenty of variety for the 3 nights we spent. The bathroom included is a must for a couples retreat. It managed to fit two powerlifters... somewhat! Although, there are some peculiarities with the property. They have a curfew of 1am and 6am opening. They also expect you to drop your room key off to the receiption each time you leave which is not the most convenient.

Great experience right in the heart of Gion

Fabulous location, outstanding Japanese food and super-friendly helpful staff. Only drawback is that the building doesn’t have windows that can be opened from inside one’s room.

Helt fantastisk sted. Vi skulle skrive os på bade tid hver dag, og det var bare en sjov og skøn oplevelse. Ren spa og velvære. De tilbyder smuk traditionel mad, hvilket også var en fantastisk oplevelse. Det eneste vi kan sætte en finger på, er at hovedpuderne ikke var af god komfort. De var meget hårde, og kunne ikke formes. Men ellers var alt andet rigtig godt. De er søde og kan nogenlunde engelsk.
