Great location. Friendly staff. Room 2021 considered “with a view”… but it faces a meeting hall. Expensive but nice breakfast. Expedience self parking (40 some dollars per night)

We are oldercouple who does not golf in town for a wedding at another location. My wife requires a handicap assessible room which was provided and handled our needs very well. We greeted by a beautiful lobby and friendly customer service for check lin . Hallway and rooms are dark and could a bit freshening up but extremeli minor point to a great stay. Room was as expexted. We only had breakfast at hotel for each of 3 days and it was exceptional. Wait staff is outstanding. 3 different waiters each day and each was fabulous. I especially appreciated the pot of coffee at table. Food options great. The grounds are beautiful to walk. The Torrey Pines State park andbeach isonly a 6 minute drive and it was beautiful.

Nice view of golf course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Take the hike to beach from hotel. Pool was very nice. Hotel food was average.

Our 6 day stay was a mix of positives & frustrations. The room was spacious including a large bathroom & beautiful balcony overlooking the golf course. The view was gorgeous & one of the highlights of our stay. The room décor was very dated with dark brown carpets & mismatched furniture. While the bathroom was clean, it showed its age & there was only one grab bar in the shower which could be a safety issue. We were told a 2026 hotel upgrade is planned. The lighting throughout the rooms was very dim. We encountered repeated issues with our room keys & parking garage gate access. Key cards had to be reprogrammed multiple times, at least 6 occasions for the garage gate alone & we had to make several trips to the front desk to get things corrected. The garage parking fees are extremely high & it would be nice to provide hotel guests a discounted rate. The front desk staff gave us conflicting information at times & nearly charged us for an additional night. These communication issues cannot be corrected with an upgrade but better education of front desk staff. Housekeeping was inconsistent with cleaning our room & my sister was startled and woken up at 6:21 AM when they entered her room. On the positive side, the food servers were excellent & the food itself was very good. The hotel did provide nice touches like complimentary water bottles & drink vouchers for the lounge, which were appreciated. I did not feel this property lived up to the Hilton Hotel standards.

Our stay was a mix of positives & frustrations. The room & bathroom were spacious, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the golf course. The view was gorgeous & one of the highlights of our stay. The location was close to everything we needed. However, the room décor was very dated, with dark brown rugs, tan walls, & mismatched furniture that lacked any cohesive design. While the bathroom was clean, it too showed its age. The lighting throughout was very dim, which made it feel darker & more closed-in than it was. We encountered repeated issues with our room keys & parking garage gate access requiring reprogramming at least 5 times causing us to make several trips to the front desk to get things corrected. The front desk staff gave us conflicting information at times & nearly charged us for an additional night for a reservation that we believed had been cancelled. Housekeeping entered the room at 6:21 AM without being requested which was quite disruptive & inappropriate that early in the morning. On the positive side, the food servers were excellent, friendly, efficient & the food itself was very good. The hotel did provide complimentary water bottles & drink vouchers for the lounge, which were appreciated. Overall, while the location & golf course view were outstanding & the dining experience was pleasant, the outdated room design, poor lighting & numerous key issues made the stay less relaxing than we had hoped & far below the standards of a Hilton property.

The room was nice and clean, and overall it was a great value stay. However, the property is starting to show its age — a facelift would be nice. We also went to check in after 4 p.m. but had to wait another 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Other than that, everything was great.

Hilton Torrey Pines

Excellent hotel adjacent to Torrey Pines, very comfortable and spacious rooms, would definitely recommend for the value
