Enjoy inspiring/spectacular sunset and ocean vistas in this La Jolla classic-circa 1939-newly remodeled 4 bed/3ba ( sleeps 10-12). Situated in a charming residential neighborhood in LJ village known for great shopping and dining. LJ Cove 7 blocks.

Come join me in the sought after village of La Jolla, a top 3 world wide lifestyle and vacation destination for the discriminating traveler.Experience tranquility, rest, relaxation and amazing ocean views in our home in the village of La Jolla- walk to all! This classic La Jolla home is newly remodeled and updated with stunning furnishings and top of the line fixtures, luxury linens and bath towels along with attention to detail at every turn. It has been lovingly maintained throughout the years adding modern updates and personal touches. The house is very elegant with many exquisite details and breathtaking ocean views from most rooms.

There is a central mosaic brick Patio/living space with 2 couches and dining table for 8 with BBQ-looking onto a beautiful tropical hillside garden - terrific for outside dining, conversation and entertaining. 3 decks allow you to relax and enjoy the expansive vistas. The gourmet kitchen is bright, airy and roomy and fully equipped featuring a subzero refrigeration and Thermador stove, oven and dishwasher. there is a nice conversation area off the kitchen because we know that everyone always ends up in the kitchen :)

Expansive ocean views are enjoyed from the large living room which includes plenty of seating. There is a wood buring fireplace and large flat screen TV. The living room opens up to an enclosed veranda with queen futon ( sleeps 2) and then onto a deck with breathtaking ocean views.

Two King bedroom are on mainfloor with 2 bathrooms - 1 bath with shower and claw foot tub to enjoy a soak after the day at the beach. Two king bedrooms are downstairs with one bath. Another living room/den with large flat screen TV is between downstairs bedrooms that includes pull-out queen bed ( special mattress that includes airbed- very comfortable). Each downstairs king bedroom opens on to a beautiful expansive deck perfect for relaxing.

There is a full size washer and dryer located in the laundry room. Beach chairs and boogie boards ( 4 each), beach towels, cooler, umbrella and beach toys provided for beach fun located in kitchen closet.

This is a friendly residential neighborhood in the village of La Jolla and we ask that you respect our neighbors tranquility and keep noise to a minimum after 9 pm.

Cutest home so close to everything that makes La Jolla great. We were a group of ucsd friends celebrating over 15 years of friendship and this home was the best place to hang out and reminisce. Walkable to downtown La Jolla and the cove, our pups loved it here too. Great views and oh so cozy!!

Fabulous home for the family!

VIEWS, LOCATION and overall perfect home for multi-generational family vacay!! I can't think of a better place our family would have enjoyed any more than this wonderful home. The four bedrooms all had super comfy KING beds AND pillows. (We very much appreciated the fantastic pillows!) There were upstairs and downstairs sitting areas. Multi-level balconies with STUNNING views! SUPER relaxing. Close to everything in San Diego. Easy walking distance to supermarket. Hostess was super helpful and easy to connect with. Loved the outdoor patio area. The big round table was perfect for family breakfast and playing games in the evening. There was both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. Everything was super clean. There were beach towels and chairs and beach toys available. There are NO negatives with this home and owner! We needed a place for some real RnR and this was absolutely perfect! We definitely want to come back for a longer stay. Thanks for sharing your home!

Beautiful home, perfect for group of friends

We stayed in this home as a group of 8 friends and really loved the common spaces and king beds in each room. The views from the home are beautiful and there is sunlight throughout every room due to big windows which were very nice. There is also a sunny courtyard and we enjoyed having access to beach chairs and boogie boards. The host was very responsive and communicative. Check in is not self-serve as the host insists on meeting in person at checkin, which means you need to coordinate that into your plan for the day. Kitchen is not fully equipped for cooking full meals but there are plenty of nice restaurants around. And there was a very nice welcome basket with wine and snacks. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Stunning Views, Plenty of Space

We came down for a bridal party weekend and this home did not disappoint. Everyone had their own space. The views were amazing from the many balconies throughout the house. Jane was very easy to work with and super friendly. The pictures cannot do justice on how beautiful the views are from this home. If a group of us find ourselves down in La Jolla again, we won't hesitate to stay here!

Paradise in La Jolla

A group of friends and I were in La Jolla for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at Jane’s house. She was so accommodating and even met us upon arrival to show us around! The views were stunning and the home has been renovated with great finishes. It was amazing to find a rental with four king size beds, but it was perfect for our group with four couples. The shower was heavenly and we loved spending time on the many outdoor patios/decks. My only regret is how little time I got to enjoy the house during a very scheduled weekend with hardly any downtime! I would love to visit again soon and stay in one of Jane’s properties!

A delightful stay

Our visit was a wonderful, but too short stay in this quintessential La Jolla hillside home, where you see only the quaint garage from street side, but you step down into a lovely landscaped brick courtyard, and beyond into a classic early mid-century home, beautifully updated, warm and inviting, with two levels of fabulous ocean and sunset views. The whole family loved it, and this grandma was happy to send the kids and grands off to the beach just a few minutes away while I enjoyed the views and breezes from both decks along with a good book. A win-win all around, with easy, quick access to most major attractions, and Jane is a lovely attentive, accommodating, accessible host. We’d love to go again.

A Fabulous Stay!

Jane's La Jolla home above the Cove, is truly amazing! The home itself is beautiful, eclectically situated and furnished, it was perfect for our girls' trip. This home has everything you will need or want and was sparklingly clean and well laid out. Perfect for a girls' trip or even four couples - plenty of privacy as the bedrooms are spaced apart and so close to everywhere. Jane was super thoughtful, kind and very accommodating with our last minute request for later check out. We will be back! Thank you!

This beautifully decorated home was very comfortable and with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the expansive ocean views. Charming home in La Jolla

Home has lots of space and lots of character. In a great neighborhood, walking distance (about 15 mins) to downtown. Jane was a wonderful host offering suggestions for activities and restaurants and also supplying coffee, wine and water, which was an unexpected surprise. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful property

This is a wonderful property with amazing views. The 4 bedrooms are all good sized and very comfortably furnished. Our family had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed using the beautiful kitchen while there. The property is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants as well as the ocean.

Fabulous house & location

We met at Jane‘s house in La Jolla for a company leadership retreat. It could not have provided a better location for a true retreat. The house is situated in a lovely location with a fantastic view, it has very comfortable and tasteful furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, and is close enough to walk to quaint neighborhood restaurants, as well as Von’s grocery store. There was nothing we would change about the house or the location. Several of us will be returning for personal vacations. The house was perfectly clean and Jane communicated well about check-in and check-out procedures. Thank you, Jane, for a wonderful weekend retreat!

La Jolla Gem that can accommodate a large gathering

We recently stayed for six nights at Jane's gorgeous, upscale craftsman house to attend a family wedding in La Jolla Village. As a blended family of seven, we thoroughly enjoyed all that this house can offer: spacious, immaculate rooms; numerous indoor and outdoor areas in which to relax, socialize, take in the magnificent views; a convenient location within walking distance of the town. Although we did very little food preparation, this house is equipped to accommodate vacationers that want to cook, grill out, entertain. As a host, Jane left us contact info, detailed notes, dining recommendations, hospitality treats and more. She immediately had the gas tank filled when we told her it was on empty. We felt right at home. We hope to return to beautiful La Jolla and stay in Jane's craftman house

Great Place -- wish we had been there for a longer stay

Jane's place really was a great place to stay for a golf weekend in La Jolla. It is nice, very clean, well furnished, and the location can't be beat -- an easy walk to everything in the village, but high enough on the hill to provide a great view. Everyone in our group (five guys on a golf outing) commented on what a perfect place it was. Our only regret is that, because we played golf all day and had dinners out, we didn't spend more time in the house. Jane's house deserves more than a two-night stay!
