El cotillo

This property is very isolated. A 4x4 vehicle is needed as the road to the property is very rough and not really suited to a hire car. If anyone is looking for solitude then this would be the place to choose. I felt uncomfortable using the owner’s laundry facilities. Would not recommend

Keys lovely villa is 5 minutes drive from El Cotillo, NW Ferteventura in an oasis of desert plants. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting just far enough from the town. El Cotillo is a great little place with lots of character & charm. Friendly locals & a brilliant supermarket (with wi-fi) on our side of town. If you like something a little different this is the place for you.

Paradise in the "outback"of el Cotillo!

We had a lovely week in this cottage, which is located in a beautiful spot outside of el Cotillo. You have the idea of being in the middle of nowhere, which we loved, but in fact it is a few minutes drive to el Cotillo. (You do need a car when you're are staying here.) The view on the mountains, the beautiful garden, the sea and the sunsets are stunning. We spent a lot of time on the veranda, just enjoying the sun, listening to the wind and the birds. And we certainly enjoyed the visits of Cookie and Chichi, the very nice dogs of the owners! We laughed a lot about the peacocks who were parading along the veranda. Absolutely paradise! The cottage itself is very nicely decorated, lots of space, comfy beds. The cottage is part of a sort of haciënda of the owners, but completely private. Keys is a very nice and friendly host and I enjoyed practising my French, that has become quite rusty ;-) She was always prepared to help, even fixed the ropes of the hammock in no time! The house was not to far from the town for the beach and shops, we enjoyed the quiet and relaxing time also watching the peacocks and company of cookie the dog. If you are looking to get away from it all then this is the ideal location and spacious house to go. Keys was lovely and accommodating, would defiantly reccommend. Thank you, Val, Steve and jo.

Super endroit dans une partie semi dĂ©sertique d’oĂč on voit la mer. Cela permet vraiment d’ĂȘtre reliĂ© aux Ă©lĂ©ments : la terre, le vent et l’ocĂ©an. J’y ai fait mes pratiques de yoga. Accueil trĂšs chaleureux de la propriĂ©taire qui habite Ă  cĂŽtĂ©. Au dĂ©but, les 5 mn de piste en voiture surprennent mais on s’y fait trĂšs vite :-)

Ein Paradies im Norden

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung im war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man dem touristischen Trubel entgehen und das authentische Leben auf der Insel erleben möchte. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend, mit beeindruckenden VulkanhĂŒgeln und endloser Weite, die uns jeden Morgen ein LĂ€cheln ins Gesicht gezaubert hat. Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die RĂ€ume sind hell, gerĂ€umig und sehr sauber. Die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet, sodass wir problemlos einige Mahlzeiten selbst zubereiten konnten. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Terrasse, auf der wir oft den Sonnenuntergang am Abend genossen haben. Der Ausblick von dort ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns bei der Ankunft herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt und stand uns wĂ€hrend unseres gesamten Aufenthalts mit wertvollen Tipps zur VerfĂŒgung. Dank ihrer Empfehlungen haben wir einige wunderbare und weniger bekannte Orte auf der Insel entdecken können. Wer Erholung sucht und die unberĂŒhrte Natur erkunden möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Ruhe, Pfauen, Meer

Wer es ruhig mag, ist hier genau richtig, etwas abseits und doch nah zu einem lebendigen Ort mit guten Restaurants, Supermarkt mit Frischfisch, Fahrradverleih, ganz verschiedene StrĂ€nde

Schön und interessant

Beautiful and quiet with stunning sea-, mountain- and gardenview

The house is located in a very quiet area and is the perfect place to relax. The view is beautiful and it is a very quiet place. You can see a lot of different birds in the garden, including some nice pet peacocks. Very friendly and helpful owner. The kitchen equipment is very good. Also very good beds. 100% recommendation!

Außergewöhnlich

Einer der schönsten Aufenthalte die wir auf Fuerteventura hatten. Es ist wunderbar ruhig, grĂŒn und abgelegen vom Haupttourismus. Dennoch kann man das Meer sehen und hören. Mit dem Auto ist alles was man braucht in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Die Vermietering ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. :)

Es war wunderschön in Keys Haus. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit tat uns gut. Ein Auto wĂ€re hilfreich, da das Haus etwas außerhalb liegt. Keys war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. El Cotillo ist ein sehr schöner Ort, in dem man alles bekommt, was man im Urlaub braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A perfect place for a nice and quiet holiday

We liked it very much here. The house is lying in "the middle of nowhere" and still the village with terraces and the beach are on a 40 minutes walk. The house and its beautiful garden are as nice as the owner. We can recommend it fully.

Kurze perfekte Auszeit

Wir waren fĂŒr eine Woche hier und haben die schöne Lage; die NĂ€he zum Meer und El Cotillo geschĂ€tzt. Ideal zum Entspannen, Surfen und wiederkommen. Wir lieben den Norden und Westen der Insel. Gastgeber sehr diskret in der NĂ€he. Klare Empfehlung

Ideal para desconectar

Para el plan que Ă­bamos buscando de playa, senderismo, bicicleta, etc. y sin multitudes es perfecto. EstĂĄ a 2 min en coche de playa del Cotillo, rutas por las montañas del cotillo, a pie o en bici, hasta la granja tara cerca para un paseo a caballo. Los pavos reales te saludan en el desayuno y la cena. La casa estĂĄ orientada de modo que te protegen de los alisios y tienes el atardecer de frente... Éramos 4 (2 adultos y 2 adolescentes) y la casa tenĂ­a espacio para todos... Para nosotros el sitio ideal.

Schöne und erholsame Tage in La Oliva

Ruhige gepflegte Anlage fernab des Trubels. Uns kam das sehr entgegen. Sehr hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gefielen uns die Pfauen, die uns bei RĂŒckkehr lautstark freundlich begrĂŒĂŸten. Besonders gefiel uns auch der KĂŒstenwanderweg von El Cotillo nach Playa Esquinzo oberhalb der schönen Strande mit tollen Ausblicken. Ein Auto sollte man haben. So sind auch die guten Restaurants (Villaverde !) zu erreichen. Zum Einkaufen empfehlen wir den Super Dino in El Cotillo. Dort sind auch weitere zahlreiche Restaurants. Sieglinde und Eugen R.

....Wer die Ruhe genießen möchte ist hier richtig!

Ein einsam gelegenes Haus mit einem Garten der zum spazieren einlÀdt. Alles sehr sauber und nette Vermieter die eine schöne Oase geschaffen haben mit sehr viel Persönlichkeit. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter. !

Pure Relaxation

We had the best time in the beautiful and calming oasis. Waking up in nowhere was for us city residents the best feeling on earth. Every morning we were woken up by the sun and the call of the peacocks. The host where very friendly and the furnishure enough to have great breakfasts and dinner at the beautiful terrace with a view in the green garden. Thats very rare on Fuerteventura. This apartmend is slowdown living as its best. We would definitly come back.

Maison au milieu des volcans et proche de la cote

Maison trÚs agréable et impeccable, située au calme absolu, accessible par une piste facilement praticable avec une voiture de location de base. Entourée de nature avec une voute étoilée superbe quand les conditions météo sont de la partie. TrÚs bon accueil de la part de la propriétaire.
