Cocoonr is pleased to offer Chalet Le Stam for rent: a former townhouse that has been completely renovated and transformed into a sumptuous mountain chalet. Located just a 10-minute walk from the slopes at Place de l’Aravet, this exceptional timber-clad property is sure to charm you with its spacious rooms and warm atmosphere.

Designed to accommodate very large groups in absolute comfort, it features a fully equipped wellness area with a sauna and an outdoor hot tub, as well as a games room to delight young and old alike. It is the ideal place for a memorable stay in the peaceful Serre Chevalier valley. The property can accommodate up to 15 guests.

The accommodation is laid out as follows:

On the ground floor (level 0):
– A practical entrance hall with ample storage space for your winter clothes
– A cosy living area comprising a spacious lounge with a smart TV and a cosy wood-burning fireplace
– A spacious dining room with a table perfectly suited to seating 15 guests
– A fully equipped open-plan kitchen (oven, dishwasher, hob, microwave, coffee machine, etc.) opening onto the living area
– An adjoining pantry for storing your groceries
– A separate toilet
– Direct access from the kitchen and living room to the terrace, garden and jacuzzi area

On the first floor (the first level of the sleeping area):
– A first double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200), storage space, access to the balcony and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and toilet
– A second double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200), storage space, access to the balcony and its own shower, washbasin and toilet
– A third double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) and storage space
– A fourth double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) and storage space
– A fifth double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) and fitted wardrobes
– Two separate bathrooms conveniently located on the landing, one with a shower and washbasin, the other with a shower, washbasin and toilet

On the second floor (the upper level dedicated to the dormitories):
– A first large dormitory sleeping 6 people, comprising two queen-size beds (160x200) and two single beds (90x190), with ample storage space
– A separate bathroom on the landing, fitted with a bath, a washbasin and a toilet
– A second large dormitory sleeping 4 people, equipped with one queen-size bed (160x200), two single beds (90x190), a television, storage space and its own en-suite bathroom with a bath, washbasin and toilet

On the garden level (level -1):
– An indoor wellness area dedicated to relaxation, featuring a Finnish sauna, a shower, sun loungers and a toilet
– A cosy games room equipped with an air hockey table and table football for your entertainment
– A practical utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer

Outdoors:
– A lovely private garden offering a natural and relaxing setting
– A large, sunny terrace furnished with a large outdoor table and sun loungers for your meals in the sunshine

For your comfort, linen is provided, firewood is included and your beds will be made up for your arrival.

The chalet enjoys a prime location, making it easy to explore the resort:
- Skiing and snow sports: access to the Serre Chevalier ski area and the lifts at Place de l'Aravet is just a 10-minute walk away
– Village life: local shops, bakeries, mini-markets, bars and restaurants in the centre of La Salle-les-Alpes are within easy reach
– Nature: hiking trails, mountain bike routes and outdoor activities in the immediate vicinity

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, there are five private parking spaces in front of the chalet entrance.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
– Nearest station: Briançon station, about 15 minutes’ drive away
– Ski resort shuttle buses: regular stops throughout the valley for easy travel between the various villages
