A beautiful special house in the Alsace with super hosts

We had a 12 day break with the family in this wonderful property - in a tranquil super relaxing setting. The house was very well presented with all modern facilities. The house is very tastefully decorated and the ping pong table in the basement was a real bonus. The garden, rockery and the sound of the little stream provides a real relaxing place to relax and have a bbq while watching the sunset overlooking the hills. The occasional passing of a deer across the field makes it really feel special. The sauna and the hot tub were very inviting and very nice. Labaroche is a great village with some good restaurants and the all important boulangeries with great bread, pastries and local delicacies. The village sits right in between the wine country with the beautiful villages such as Kaysersberg, Ribeauville and other - and the mountains and lakes of Alsace with hundreds of great walks and activities for all abilities - we particularly enjoyed the accent of Grand Ballon from Langmatt. Cannot say enough about how welcome we were made to feel by Francois from the moment we arrived - Nicole communicated with us all throughout the booking and answered all the questions we had very promptly - throughout our stay the hosts were always available to meet any request - the welcome bottles of homemade apple juice was a real nice touch - I enjoyed our little chats with Francois whenever we saw him. Thank you both for making our holidays so special !!! Highly recommended !!!
