Property is nice. However if you are looking for woodsy, this isn't it. Directly across from lake view is factory row. Doesn't take away from the hotel however. The place is beautiful. We were surprised to see that the shower got water did not work we stored to let them know at desk and they promised that the issue would be resolved however the next day same issue. No hot water. At this point we were close to checking out and nothing could be done. Hotel house keeping services were also not provided either days of our stay despite having daily servicrs provided. All in all not a great experience.

Our room at the Lake of Opechee Inn & Spa was spacious. The gas fireplace was very enjoyable on a cold winter evening. The staff are very personable and willing to make your stay memorable.

The room was spotless, everything was wonderful. Went to the spa for a massage, that was incredible! Had dinner at the O Steakhouse (attached to hotel) which was delicious! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The room was exceptionally clean and well-organized, and the bed was comfortable with a pleasant scent. Stuff very nice and welcoming. About facilities: Unfortunately, the pool was out of service, which was a disappointment for our child. The same applied to the spa. We found no online booking system or alternative method to ascertain availability, leading to an inability to utilize the spa facilities.

Wonderful stay. Very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. It’s a very quiet time of the year, so not much going on. My top observations that need addressing are the wear and tear on the rooms. Old and outdated. Also, no hot tub.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean and warm/ welcoming. The staff were always smiling, helpful and so friendly. The fireplace in our room warmed the room and made it such a relaxing atmosphere. Beds were very comfortable and yes the sheets were super soft. The restaurant, although not directly affiliated with the hotel, was fantastic. We now plan to stay here for every trip back to this area!!
