We visited La Locanda on the first leg of our honeymoon, and really you cannot ask for a better hotel for such a trip. The room was fantastic and spacious with breathtaking views. The area itself is perfect if you want a nice relaxing spot to enjoy the lake without the noise and oceans of people in some of the more common areas like Bellagio or Como. One thing we didn’t know about this property when we booked it is that it has a private pier right on the lake which has umbrellas and comfortable deck chairs. It is an amazing spot to swim from and bask in the sun, and my wife and I spent many uninterrupted hours there during our stay, it really was a money can’t buy experience that you would never get in the bigger hotels or towns with thousands of screaming tourists and kids around. Mike was so lovely and welcoming, you can really relax and feel at home knowing he will go out of his way to make sure you have a brilliant stay - thank you Mike for a wonderful experience.

It is small intimate, wonderful service, fantastic room and amenities - Mihal is a wonderful host. Definitely coming back to stay again.

Fabulous place to stay. Staff are friendly and rooms are modern and clean. Would recommend a car for this area to get around easily.
