Minutes from downtown Logoa Sprawling farmhouse with resident delightful cows a quick peak over a fence. Safe and secluded. Clean and comfortable. Host is amenable and available.

Private and perfectly located

Beautiful home with private parking in a convenient location with easy access to highway allowing quick travel to all points of the island. The casa is clean and quiet and provides peace and tranquility. The owner can provide many suggestions for restaurants or places to visit. Highly recommend!

Peaceful property and fantastic location

The house is nice but what we enjoyed most was the grounds with relaxing hammock, outdoor dining, and fire pit. It was fun to have cows next door. Location was great for getting around the island and there was a grocery store not too far away. There was no spa tub as noted in the description but that was fine since there are so many other water activities.

Lovely home

We had a lovely stay at Maria's home and we especially appreciated the outside space. The kids loved the fire pit for toasting marshmellows and the bbq for cooking our freshly caught fish!

Great Place

Great location to everything. Very clean and bright. The only drawback is the musty smell because there is no air conditioning or a dehumidifier. There are beautiful wood antiques, and cows in the adjacent yard.

Very Enjoyable Stay

Pretty semi-rural area that is convenient and quiet. Very homey feeling with good sized kitchen, bath and central area. Maria and Nelson were easily reached for any questions. Island is great for natural beauty and relaxed vibe.

Perfect place to stay

Great location, close to everything. Own lawn with a place for a bonfire and grill. You must have a car. Large rooms and a functional bathroom. The house has almost everything you need. Lovely host and very helpful. It was sad to leave :)

La única valoración positiva que podemos darle es por la barbacoa cubierta y el jardín que tiene la casa.En contra, casi todo lo demás:Desde el primer momento, con dificultad para comunicarnos con ella. La dirección no cuadraba con la ubicación de la casa. Gracias a dos autóctonos y a que en el grupo teníamos a una persona hábil y orientada, dimos con la casa 1'30h después.Las camas, todas para personas con altura inferior a 1'75. Hemos tenido que dormir de lado, encogidos porque no podías sacar los pies del colchón ya que tenían piecero.La vajilla, no había como para 6 personas sin vasos, utilizábamos tazas de desayuno, que sólo había 5 y éramos 6. Con los platos pasaba lo mismo y con los cubiertos, igual 5 cucharas, 5 platos, 5 tenedores, tampoco había sartenes, ni tijeras...nos hemos tenido que ir apañando como hemos podido y fregando a mano en cada comida para poder tener vajilla limpia para la siguiente.Continuamos. El sofá, se puede tener un sofá más incómodo??? No había probado uno así jamás, te hacía una C, estaba inclinado no hacía atrás, sino hacia adelante!!Y ya por ir terminando, mucho mucho olor a humedad, nuestra ropa y sábanas húmedas al meternos a dormir y la consecuencia de esta humedad, cucarachas que dieron cara los dos últimos días, más vale que no las vimos antes....Gracias a qué hemos ido con amigos, hemos disfrutado porque lo que es la casa, si pueden evitar alquilarla, mejor.

Nette Unterkunft mit Garten.. leider mit vielen Mängeln

Die Unterkunft mit dem Garten ist an sich ganz nett. Wir hatten keine großen Ansprüche, allerdings hat das Haus grundlegende Eigenschaften wie winddicht und wasserdicht nicht erfüllt. Dadurch war es in allen Räumen sehr kalt und bei Regen haben sich Wasserrinnsale an der Wand gebildet, wodurch alles klamm und feucht war (auch alle Klamotten). Zum Schlafen gab es keine Bettdecken, sondern nur ein dünnes Laken. Auf Nachfrage haben wir einen weiteren Heizlüfter und Fleecedecken bekommen. Die Kommunikation war schwierig, es wurde nur teilweise oder gar nicht auf Nachrichten geantwortet. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt ok, da wir uns kaum in der Unterkunft aufgehalten haben.

Perfectly located and very private house

A nice and clean house outside Lagoa, with a spacious garden and a fabulous grill house! This is the perfect home for a self-catering family. The house is clean and equipped with everything you might need. Parking is available on the property. We spent three fantastic weeks there and would consider renting it again if we return to the island.

Charmant séjour

Charmante petite maison, bien équipée et décorée avec goût. La terrasse couverte est très agréable pour profiter de l'extérieur par tout temps. Dommage qu'on ne puisse rien faire à proximité sans prendre la voiture.

ruhige Umgebung und trotzdem gut angebunden

Das Haus ist schön gelegen und trotzdem gut an Ponta Delgada angebunden. Man benötigt aber unbedingt ein Mietauto. Haus hat alles was man so braucht. Das einzige was wir vermissten war eine Geschirr-Spülmaschine ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.
