Ferragudo

Superbly situated property, close to a couple of beautiful beach’s within walking distance, the property suits adults and the use of a hire car if you plan to self cater, there are small shops in Ferragudo which would be a 20 minute walk. The restaurants and tavernas in Ferragudo are extremely good with fantastic fish. The ferry across to portamao was excellent value and easy to access. The host of the property was very accommodating and gave useful local information. He also responded to a small issue in the property immediately. Would definitely use again if available on our next visit

Beautiful location

We had a fantastic experience living in the Farragudo neighborhood. Firstly, it's important to note that having a vehicle is essential to fully enjoy this area. While the nearest beach is just a short 10-minute walk away, having a vehicle opens up opportunities to explore numerous other beautiful beaches in the vicinity, making your stay much more convenient.The home itself was truly wonderful. The highlight for us was the top balcony area, offering breathtaking views and a perfect spot to unwind. The spaciousness of the house was a hit with the kids, who had a blast playing on all the different floors.What truly stood out was the owner's responsiveness to our suggestions and needs. His willingness to accommodate us made our stay even more enjoyable, and we left with a strong desire to return. Overall, Farragudo is a charming neighborhood, and this home made our stay an exceptional one. We can't wait to come back experience the beautiful beaches and the caves. Lastly, the owner has some great restaurant suggestions. Really liked O Velho Novo.

Nice house. Nice property. However, only one bedroom had air conditioning. The a/c in the other room was broken and unable to fix it in a timely manner. I left the house after less than an hour and got another place to stay. Not a good place to stay in hot summer months. The owner did issue a refund with no pushback

Wonderful stay

From beginning to end, my wife and I were very happy with the property and having the comforts of a home and Sergio made the entire process easy. Although we didn't make use of the kitchen, we enjoyed evenings at home after dinner at one of the local restaurants within walking distance. There is also a very nice beach within 2 kilometers. This being our first time in Portugal we rented a car and drove from Lisbon to Ferragudo and our GPS could not find the address, Sergio responded quickly with directions through Google maps, that brought us to the door! The home is nicely decorated with plenty of room to roam. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine on the rooftop patio while watching the sunset, a welcome gift left by our gracious host, Thank you! We did some laundry and for the first time in a long while, actually hung our clothes out to dry which brought back fond memories. We can absolutely recommend this home and would definitely stay there again!

Estupendo viaje por el Algarbe

Estamos muy contentos con nuestra estancia en Ferragudo. Hemos disfrutado de una bonita casa con todos los detalles, y la cocina con todo lo necesario para su uso. Desde allí hemos conocido una zona tan bonita como la del Algarve. Hay bonitas playas a las que se puede ir andando, a 10 minutos y ver las mejores puestas de sol. Sergio nos ha facilitado toda la información que necesitábamos para movernos por la zona y encontrar lo que necesitábamos en cada momento. Para ir a Ferragudo hay que coger el coche.
