Not “incredible” apartment but LOCATION is; close to all amenities one needs. Housekeeping crew was excellent. Bldg and underground parking clean & secure. Joao of Rentalgest tried very hard to accommodate but there were many things he could not fix. 1st rental for this unit and it was NOT ready. The apartment is roomy but it and furnishings are tired and neglected. The apartment smelled musty/damp on arrival.There was a sewer/septic smell in the ensuite bathroom entire stay (48 days). Microwave had to be replaced, (vintage) countertop oven needed repair, gas stovetop needs repair/replacement (automatic starter doesn’t work, 3 of 4 burners work and 1 those only on low. Master bedroom blinds stained & broken (window weather seal needs replacing-wind was blowing through). Bathroom showers/kitchen & front hall are very dark. Balcony door also needs weather seal replaced as wind blows through there too. Other balcony door is screwed shut! Neglected plants on balcony. Living room furniture is low & uncomfortable. No legal safety signage i.e fire ex. (which was stuffed in closet) as required in Portugal. We stay in 4-5 rentals per year and, sadly, this is the worst review we have ever given. We would stay in this Marina area next time we are in Lagos but certainly not in this apartment. Sharron & Mike, Niagara Region, Canada
