Unique villa in mature gardens with swimming pool and tennis court only 5 minutes from the historic town of Lagos and 50 minutes from Faro airport. Situated on the Sargaçal Ridge with commanding views down a protected valley to a glimpse of the sea.

The house has 4 bedrooms with 4 en-suite bathrooms, all with balconies and sleeps eight. Ideal for one or two families. It has a lovely shady outdoor dining patio with a view of the valley towards the sea and a poolside gazebo with a built-in bbq. There are lots of sun bathing terraces and quiet places for reading or relaxing. There is a large swimming pool and a full-sized tennis court too which is great fun for all the family. Racquets are provided.

Completely refurbished and furnished to a high standard the villa has a spacious, open-plan living room with Sky channel TV, Sonos, DVD/Book library and raised reading area. Comfortable sofas and armchairs create a relaxed and welcoming space. There is a separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops. Because of our location a car is advisable and there is secure parking for up to 3 cars – one space is covered. Casa Zimbreira has been welcoming guests since 2006.

Zimbreira is ideally situated just minutes from all the beautiful beaches, wonderful restaurants, numerous golf courses and sporting facilities and vibrant Lagos nightlife.

Situated in the western Algarve where the golden sandy beaches stretch for mile upon mile and where the Atlantic breeze keeps temperatures to ideal summer levels, visitors can enjoy an endless range of outdoor activities including windsurfing, water sports and boat trips, walking, cycling, horse riding, tennis, yoga and championship golf courses.

Its position on a ridge above olive trees, orange groves and protected low land has uninterrupted views towards the sea.

House rules:

No smoking inside the Villa (dispose of all ashes/cigarettes responsibly using ashtrays to avoid risk of fire in a dry area).

No glass or bottles by the pool – please use plastic tumblers.

Extra vigilance of small children on balconies and beside the pool.

No Events or Parties.

Quiet hours between 11pm and 8am.

Please dispose of all rubbish and recycling before departure.
