The room needed a deep cleaning, and they charged the amenity fee even though the pool and hot tub were closed for refurb. Spend the money and stay at Casa Loma or the Pendry.

They need to revisit the room rates. Not only do you pay the room fee, they will get you with a $55-75 dollar parking fee, and a $35 dollar “Amenity” fee. I would’ve stayed at another hotel if these prices were baked in to the original room cost.
