Decent place for the area

Clean and basic but large room Minimally furnished AC was cool and nice Our room was right on highway 1 so it was noisy but later in the evening the traffic is light The price is high compared to the hotel quality but i think it is comparable to what is the standard in Laguna Beach The access to the beach was right across the street and convenient Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants

The picture of the rooms are very deceiving. They make them look very spacious and bright and cozy as well as updated. What was supposed to have been a nice weekend retreat with my wife of just 4 months and my 61st birthday was a room with stained carpets out dated furnishings and a room the size of our master bedroom. Foor the amount of money i paid for 2 nights I could have stayed at

Love this place!!!!!

Awesome experience. The lack of two stars were more to alert to a suggestion. There is o ly one mirror and it isn't full length. Many options for a full length exist. That's a real miss but overall everything else was amazing as always.

The room looked like somebody had gone in there and torn it apart from a previous day that the hotel then thought they could just put spackle in a little bit of paint over it. They tried to paint around the door handle, which looks like it was just covering mold. The building itself is older, but some of the steps were breaking so I don’t think it’s the safest either.

Hmm, the rooms are like studio apartments without furniture, closet. Very Spartan. Bathroom shower was nice. The pool and jacuzzi balcony were fantastic and the staff did well. They fixed our shower and drain promptly, clean, our room was quiet. It is a cost friendly place in such an expensive part of the world. People complain too much. Not lux if you need that

Everything was great except they were not ready for our 4pm check-in because they let someone stay until 3pm for a late check-out, at least that's what they told us. The cleaning lady was still in the room until 4:30pm. She didn't have enough time to clean the wood floors, so the floors were dirty. My husband hates to complain, so I kept having to clean my feet. I'm not saying it was horribly-dirty, which is why I still gave them 5 stars. The front staff were always friendly and helpful. If you're a light sleeper, know that this place is on the very busy Pacific Coast Highway. Ask for a room in the back, but then again, there's a pool too.
