We had carpet replacement on our floor, right in front of our room. They gave us $50 credit for that though. They had plenty of rooms avaliable and we did not want to shift again to another riom.

The BBQ area is located in the front of the hotel next to the parkade structure, this is not what I had imagined for my outside bbq evenings in paradise. Usually beachside or beach viewing is standard. The night deadbolt on the entry door did not work. Our unit is looking tired and was very plain.

Amazing property with sandy beach right at the back, which can be accessed directly from the property. My kids did snorkeling at the beach. We felt very safe and location was super central to strip mall containing restaurants, Kanapali beach and shopping area and many other things. Pools at the hotels were great and pool towels were provided as part of the resort fee. Overall we loved the property and will definitely consider staying here again.

The ocean view room was amazing, the beach was great with easy access, both the pools were clean and good. We rented beach chairs and boogie board on site which was very convenient, the staff was responsive and great. Restaurants and food trucks nearby were great.

The view is amazing but in terms of cleanliness, it was disgusting. The knobs on all the cabinets and doors were sticky and there was mold in the bedroom INCLUDING on the sheets.

The resort itself is amazing. It is right on the beach, the pools are nice, and having that restaurant right on site is great. What I did not like was no housekeeping. I was there for 2 weeks and really needed some fresh bedding and towels every once in a while, it was kind of gross going without for an extending time period. Also, if I am paying a resort fee, at least do housekeeping. Paying a resort fee, plus parking also seems excessive. I am already paying extra and now I have to pay even more. Last, I one of the reasons I chose this place was for a gym as it is listed as an amenity. I found out I have to pay extra to use it. AEI finds every way to charge you extra for what any other hotel includes at no charge.

We stayed for a week at the Aston Kaanapali Shores Aug. 12-19. We were happy with our stay overall but there was a large roach crawling on the wall the first day. We got a notice the exterminators would be by during our stay but it looked like we could have used them a bit sooner. The drain in the master shower was extremely slow to drain and the A/C couldn’t be felt much beyond the living room. The pools were nice and the grounds and beach were kept up. The communication was thorough and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant and the drinks were terrible but again the servers were very friendly.

The location is amazing, well maintained, staff is So helpful and nice, the view is breathtaking, the beach is nice and wide , we could see turtles in the ocean , just beautiful , we would love to come back
