Front desk staff, Rain and Joe and all the rest were great. Handy coffee station in the morning, water bottle refill very very appreciated. Wonderful pool and great restaurant, the Castaway. Grounds were beautiful. Great central location walkable to so many places, free shuttle to whalers Village. This place was so great. Not as crazy and packed in as the neighboring hotels. Totally recommend! Ocean view studio, perfect!

Staff was lovely and the property was beautiful. It is away from the busy parts of the beach and makes for a very relaxing trip. Navigation will take you to the Royal Lahaina so be sure to pass that exit off of the freeway and take the next left hand turn at the light if you are coming from the airport. The only issue with the place was it took us about 10 minutes to find it. Once we did it was a 100/10 experience

My advice… be careful what you pay for. I paid extra for an ocean view villa. The lady at the front desk assured me that it was an ocean view but when we got to our villa it was a pretty view of the COURTYARD. However, if you went out on the small balcony and leaned over, you could see a little bit of the ocean. The resort was okay! Close to the beach and everyone was nice! Our villa was clean but the furniture was very worn out and the curtains were in need of cleaning. And we had everything we needed in the kitchen except for a cookie sheet.

Loved the property. The Lanai was very narrow and there was no way to sit on the lanai which was disappointing! Otherwise the property and our stay was amazing!

I spent a total of 3 hrs on the phone with Expedia attempting to deal with my situation. We have booked many many trips, I’m disappointed in this property the staff but most importantly the lack of care or concern offered by Expedia. The property itself, not as it appears online. We had 3 different rooms, none of them to the standard you would expect. The acknowledgement of the front office staff about the first room given to us (521) is evidence that they don’t give a heck! We moved from that room. To 186, better but not ocean view that we paid for. Also, not to the standard I would expect. Then, our 3rd night we got moved to 519, ocean view but not well cared for. Not as bad as 521, but still sub par motel 6 level of motel at best. Our friend stayed in 518, I booked her room on the same reservation. Her room was nice, bright and clean. Past the rooms, the fithy restaurant and awful parking my biggest issue was the way I was treated by the front desk person who originally check us in. Rude abusive condescending! You couldn’t pay me to be in the same room with her. Overall, my anniversary trip wasn’t what we planned.awful rooms (all 3) we had. The restart itself isn’t in a condition to be considered a resort. The restaurant was great food, but the property was gross. I’ve seen food trucks cleaner. More than anything, Expedia failed me! Please review your correspondence with me. All the calls and time, you should have handled this not put us thru the bs.

It is a lovely spot and we had a great time. We had a beautiful view of these three amazing Banyan trees and the beach in the distance. The resort is located on Kanapali Beach, which was amazing. We could have stayed there the whole time but there wasn’t a store onsite so we had to make several trips to town. I would have given a higher rating but they were doing construction in the room above ours and it disrupted our ability to relax quite a bit. And we saw a few cockroaches in the kitchen one night and that was unsettling.
