The location is ideal if you are looking for a quiet place away from the main resort area in Kaanapali and okay with a condo vs. resort hotel. Close enough to walk or take the trolley (which actually stops at the MKV) to Whaler’s Village and steps away from the ocean. Castaway Cafe was great for breakfast. Not a ton to do on site for younger families, but nice main pool. Great if you have older kids or going as an older couple. It’s a bit dated, and staff was cordial but did not go out of their way at all. Concierge desk was unhelpful. Parking is limited.

The room was very large and nice with full kitchen, dining table, couch, and two beds! The location was perfect with a less busy beach than south of black rock but still walking distance to Whalers Village. Only downside was a large gap under our door to the outside that bugs could crawl through. We found 2 cockroaches in our room but other than that is was very clean

Very well maintained resort with tastefully decorated units. However we got room cleaning and new towels only once during our weeklong stay. We also got a room with a malfunctioning oven at first. Then reception said we would be moved to another room and we should wait for their call which came hours later and cost us a day out.
