The Alexander House is a charming 1887 farmhouse walking distance to North Creek, NY at the base of Gore Mountain. The property is in the heart of the Adirondacks and serves as a gateway to all that wonderful area has to offer!

Hudson River access across the street. 5 mins from Gore Mountain, 3 mins from North Creek Ski Bowl. 30 mins to Lake George. 20 mins to Loon Lake. Hiking, Skiing, Mountain biking, Kayaking, Fishing, and lots more!

This is a great house for skiing Gore mountain, Fall Foliage hiking, and doing outdoor activities in the Adirondacks!



We just remodeled the bathrooms - brand new with heated floors for the winter!!



The Alexander House has a full kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave oven, and dishwasher. It is fully stocked! There is a washing machine and dryer, and detergent is provided for your convenience. BBQ grill with propane. Outdoor fire pit with wood provided.



3 queen beds in bedrooms, one queen pull out couch in the living room.



There is plenty of parking by the red wood shed on the property.

North Creek is in the heart of the Adirondacks at the foot of Gore Mountain. There is so much to do at every adventure level!



Downtown North Creek is about a 5 min walk. Walking distance to the North Creek shuttle.



Our house has a shared driveway with our rear neighbor. There is a hiking trail across the street that overlooks the scenic Hudson river.

Lovely little getaway

The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we even had a welcome s’mores kit from the homeowners, which was great. Beds were comfy, and the fireplace was lovely to use on the evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything you need

Beautiful house with lots of space and properly stocked with everything needed (plenty of towels, dishes, pans, etc.)to make it a great base for a short or long trip. Very clean and well kept. Communication with the hosts was easy and very pleasant. We stayed for a rafting trip but it would be great in the winter for skiing also.

The property is as advertised and more! Chris and Christin are excellent hosts. Prompt communication. They were even able to accommodate an early check in for us. The house was neat, clean and well organized. Plenty of room for our group and ski gear too!! Nice welcome package of hot cocoa and marshmallows! Coffee for the Keurig and along with creamer! We have stayed at many properties over the years and this is top 5! 5 minutes to Gore and we were on the slopes. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful Retreat

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Chris was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with at all times. The proximity to Gore Mountain was unbeatable! (less than 5 minute drive!) It was wonderful to have luxurious accommodations so close to where we were skiing. We appreciated how clean and spacious it was, the comfortable feel and an added bonus was the heated bathroom floors. What's not to love? We would be more than happy to stay here again!

Amazing host and awesome vacation home

We were 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids), stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful vacation home. The property owners were super responsive and helped us a lot in providing must see sites and attractions. They had the kept the house clean, a lot of fire wood for the fire place and towels and napkins for us to use. The location is not too remote and nor is it in the over crowded location. Its just perfect, loved the overall visit. Kid's loved the board games and outside yard and had lots of fun.

Great ski house

Perfect spot for 3 days of skiing. 5 minutes to the mountain, walk into town...if it's not too cold. Everything in house was well done down to the nice wine glasses. We'll be back!

Comfortable close to the mountain

I cannot say enough about the ease of communication with the property hosts. Check in was so easy. We received recommendations on things to do and tips on the area. They also left us hot chocolate for after our ski days! The yard is not that large and, it might have been the weather, but we didn't have a view. We did have lots of hot water and games to play when we were done with our ski days and that is what we needed.
