Cozy cabin in the woods

My family and I spent four nights here. The property is well maintained and looked just like the photos. It's a great location if you plan on exploring the Leelenau peninsula and the surrounding national lakeshores. The hot tub was pristine and definitely had the best views I've had from a hot tub. There was also plenty of firewood supplied for the Solo stove. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing. Cleanliness, attentiveness of Darren and obviously the whole property. The swing in the woods was a huge hit for the kiddos. I grew up about 20 minutes away and our family has outgrown staying at my Mom's house. With that said, it still blows me away the beauty of the area and being out on that deck, in the hot tub and even within the house with those views was amazing.

Great stay in this beautiful log cabin. Wonderful view of the water and within a few miles of Leland and Glen Arbor. Loved the quietness in the middle of the woods. Like new appliances and everything you would need in the kitchen. Spacious deck to hang out and a hot tub to enjoy.

We just finished an amazing weekend here! The view alone was worth every penny. The cabin was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. Our group of 7 (3 grandparents, 2 kids and 2 adults) had a fabulous week at this property! The view and location can’t be beat. Beautiful vista of Whaleback and just minutes from Good Harbor beach. The house is comfortably furnished for family dinner and movie night. Kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary equipment. This property is perfectly tucked away and private, yet full of amenities and luxuries. We had three generations of family and everyone was comfortable and entertained. You cannot beat the views of Lake Michigan, fresh air, and stargazing. We weren't aware that Leland had so much to do and the hosts were SO helpful in pointing us in the right direction. Plenty of bars, restaurants, recreation (including indoor curling!), and shopping. My new favorite little beach town and we have already reserved a week for the fall.

Beautiful home with an amazview view of Lake Michigan!

Our stay at Overby Woods was nothing short of amazing. The house is beautiful, the view is incredible and Darren was wonderful to work with. We had a couple of questions while we were there and he took care of them right away. The house is spacious, the kitchen is full of ammenties, and the grocery delivery service was perfect so that our fridge was stocked before we even arrived. We spent a majority of our time in Glen Arbor and it was a pretty 20 minute drive. We would definitely return!
