We really enjoyed our stay here and made some happy memories with grandparents and aunts. The layout was great and we appreciated the number of bathrooms. The view from the living room was stunning. We brought our puppy and she had a great time playing in the lake. I agree with the other reviewer that there wasn’t a great spot to walk the dog. We just ended up walking her along the side of the small road leading to the house. There is a little patch of grass that we saw next to the lake in some of the photos but there is no way to access it.

Relaxing Lake Lure Getaway

My family has been coming to Lake Lure for almost 30 years. This trip was just my husband and myself and the two dogs. This beautiful home is well maintained and equipped. The owners have thought of everything! It would be a great place for a multigenerational family trip. The views from the home are beautiful! The boat house is air conditioned and has a bathroom and kitchen which was so convenient for days spent on the dock. The only issue we had was that there was not a great place to walk the dogs. We drove them to a nearby park when we needed to take them out. Otherwise, everything was great! One of the best houses I have rented in Lake Lure. I would rent here again maybe without the dogs.
