It was a wonderful stay. We loved every minute. The only suggestion I could recommend is better signage at night. We had a difficult time finding the driveway in the dark.

There was old food in the fridge, the coffee pot was dirty, there were no filters for the coffeemaker. The switch plates for the lights in the kitchen were disgusting, grimy and sticky. The stove hood where the stove light switch is was gross. The shade in the front window had missing blind areas. Also the fridge froze my drinks.

Retreat at King's Beach

Our very quaint little one bedroom cabin that sleeps 4 was fully equipped with linens, towels, and basic toiletries. The kitchenette was well equipped with coffee pot and supplies, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and stove. Dining table for 4. Beach towels were available too. Our cabin was among the big trees and across the street from their private beach with lounge chairs and dock. Heated pool was a "refreshing" temperature and needed some skimming. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Private beach was equipped with lounge chairs.It felt very homey. I would definitely stay there again.

Room 16, not as pictured on line when I booked, and it is close to the road. The road traffic noise was horrible. Access to the lake was great.

When I saw this hotel and their photo's I was so excited to stay there. I booked a room with a queen bed and 2 twins. We were supposed to have access to a private beach, Voleyball court, a pool, and picnic area. When we checked in we had to drive down the road further to actually get to our room. The pool was located across the street from the main check in office. The private beach was 2 feet worth of rocks and water. The room we got was a King bed with 2 couches that were supposedly the 2 twin beds. When I called the office about all of thise we were told that was the only rooms they offered. So, very disappointed in the false advertisement of this hotel. Room was clean at least. Will not be staying here again. Not worth the money for what was advertised vs what we got.
