Terrible long weekend

Very tough. Hot water barely worked and when it did it lasted about 3 minutes. Couldn't get it solved. Super loud neighbor blasting loud music or super loud tv at all hours, well past midnight. No one came to address it as promised so just kept happening. Total nightmare. Upon checkout they offered me a free night if I cam back before April. No thanks.

TLDR: Would not stay here again. We arrived during a snow storm and the heater in our room didn’t work. They sent maintenance to the room but they couldn’t fix it. Then they told us to wait for a space heater to be sent to our room and when it finally arrived it was tiny. At this point we’d been in the room without heat for a while and the tiny space heater couldn’t heat the room. We asked for a new room with a working heater and they made us walk back down to the lobby in the snow storm to sign a new contract. The rooms are very old and not updated. The scariest part was that the door didn't have a safety latch. Our door looked like it had been tampered with on the inside as the wood was chipped near the lock. Felt very sketchy.

Classic Comfort at the Granlibakken

We never stay anywhere else. Yes it's pricey,but oh so wonderful. Even with construction going on, it's peaceful and comfortable. When the pool is quiet, take a heavenly swim. Breakfast is fantastic!!
Enjoy the view and relax while watching kids play on the hill.
