Highly Recommend. Although it's right off the main road, it's tucked away in the trees and felt almost cabin like. The lodge is normally a timeshare so the rooms are fully equipped with dishes, a coffee maker, even had a blender and crock pot. Very nice handmade tahoe style furniture and fixtures. Everything was super clean, both the room and grounds, staff does a great job. The heated pool and hot tub were awesome and I had them to myself. This is a sweet place, look forward to returning.

The property was well maintained and the heating system was highly effective. It was chilly around low 40’s at night when I stayed there, I was comfortable. They have a well equipped kitchen, including electric pot and utensils. I stayed at the quieter side of the building, and missed the famous nightly nocturnal animals scavenge through trash cans. I heard it was very entertaining at the safety of your own room. I will definitely return!

Parking was immediately behind the rooms. Facility was clean, but shows its age to some extent. Having a heated pool with a spa was a wonderful extra. We made use of both as did many other guests. Staff was friendly. There was some confusion about access to the facility and office hours based on what was on the Expedia website versus information from the facility. The website needs to be updated. Wiring in the bedroom was odd in that the light switch turned on and off all the outlets. As a result, the clock in the room continually lost the current time when the lights were turned off. Costs of the facility were reasonable. Would stay here again given the opportunity.

Our stay at The Lodge was so lovely The suite was spacious and perfectly appointed! Everything we need to cook, chill and rest was provided! We walked to the lake in 15 minutes to a very nice beach! Perfectly located for hiking, eating and accessing all things required for a perfect vacation at beautiful South Lake Tahoe!!

This property was very conveniently located to shops, dining and the casinos. Approximately a 15-minute walk. It felt very safe. The property was clean. We had one of the one bedroom suites with full kitchen. It was adequately supplied and we liked having a full size refrigerator so we could bring our own food and prepare our own meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
