i’ve been here a few times— and i was happy to see they were under new ownership & had some updated photos of nice, clean rooms. unfortunately, the room we were given was one of the older ones. all the sheets we were given contained holes. there was cigarette burns on the mattress cover. the blankets smelled not great. worst of all, my biggest issue, the floor was filthy. i don’t think they’ve ever actually cleaned them with a mop. walking around would instantly make the bottom of your feet filthy. i ended up bringing my own sheets anyway, so the bed issue was fixable— but they need to invest in better cleaning services. no one should be grossed out by the sheets they sleep in or the dirty floor while on vacation. other than that, miguel was very kind and helpful with assisting us!! the new manager is also very friendly.

They called an exterminator because it was roaches

The picture is nothing in what they present there. They want nothing but drug addicts and people that can come in and out after 8 o’clock. The party is on Friday, Saturday or Sunday in the staff continuously like to go into the peoples rooms and hang out. what do you think they going ! The pool has a hole in it half the time it’s just warm washer and dryer don’t work , washer stay water inside . The manager is very rude has no respect for elder people. Manager talk about owner as oh she don’t remember were she lcame from. At 18 days we ask to move room was rent year before pad lock on door no one came the move or their guy was there before us there. Staff talk front customers saying that she has pressure on her from the owner to make their numbers so they don’t want people weekly for the simple fact that they rather the people that stay one in two days so they can charge them 100 and 2 hundred dollars hundred dollar deposit and they prefer cash while I witnessed a guy tell the young lady with an artistic child that all you can pay tomorrow don’t worry about it. I’ll let you know the lady just sitting there getting my breakfast and the young man say to her oh I don’t need to get her drivers license right? I don’t know what motel you go to and they don’t need to take a copy of your drivers license and they just like people to come and pay cash she paid 140 something which would’ve been the deal. She got for two days because she paid cash room 10 has a insect bomb can 3weeks

Check in after 5, they leave a lock case on your room door. Hopefully, if you have this, the lock case will operate correctly. If not, good luck trying to reach management. Also, some deal to protect children from scalding that was built into the shower knob was faulty and could not turn off the shower.

Very nice property, staff and good value. Includes nice little breakfast and easy walk to intracoastal parks. Jessica at front desk is a heart warming person. Pleasantly surprised with the nice pool setup and relaxing dolphin fountain. Only problem was something happened with the pool and it was closed for an extended period. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.

At first glance all appeared on. Come night, not so much. Blinds didn’t keep light out, my roo was lit up all night. A/C sounded like a jet engine, bathroom fan never shut off and was noisy.

Jessica is absolutely great ! I will be coming back. Very convenient if you are looking to staying close to the beaches. Location-wise, The Lake Side Lodge is perfectly situated, making it easy to access local attractions, shopping, and dining. Jessica was very helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation. We got the pleasure of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms which was pool side and looks great inside! King side bed AC pumping, little area to eat your food and nice and a clean bathroom. We also did stay in one of the older rooms upon arrival and for the price it just what you need ! Breakfast was good to get your day started, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and some juices, also we arrived very late but was still able to get in our rooms through a lock box but make sure you let them know prior because there is no one there 24/7! Overall, I highly recommend The lake side lodge to anyone looking for a memorable stay. I can't wait to return!
