This property was so dirty and smelly. We had to switch rooms 2x. Bed looked like someone had slept in it. Towels were gray and dirty. Someone tried to come in our room at 9am. The shower was so dirty we didn’t even take a shower. Muddy foot prints in the bathroom. This place needs to be taken off your website and I need a refund. The reviews and the rating are all lies. This felt like a sec trafficking motel! Very very very bad.

Doors & walls were filthy. Wallpaper had fallen off the wall and was stapled back up. Bathroom door did not shut. AC vents, window sills, and tub faucet had mold on them. Front desk tried to give us another room that was even worse and on a floor that had loud music and an alternation going on and the front desk person was not phased by anything going on nor did she try to quiet the activities.

Attention Needed

This is an older building which is okay. The elevator needs painting and cleaning. Our shower/tub drained very slowly and we always had 2-3 inches of soapy water when exiting the shower. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and steam was a problem. The carpet in the room had spots and felt unclean. I saw one roach in the bathroom. Some of the wall coverings throught the building was peeling and needed attention. Maintenance appears to be lacking. Breakfast selections were very limited compared to other hotels.

There were so many good places to go shopping in walking distance. We ordered food and there were so many options. The room was big and the bed was comfy!!!

The room is good, but we had a hard time first finding the room because the room number was missing , and second the card key wasn't working properly, we couldn't unlock easily. The elevator and the hallway had a strong and unpleasant smell.

Just ok.

Front desk was great! Very helpful. The room had a strange smell that i figured out is the water! Room wasn’t terrible. But there was a large stick on the floor by the closet so i know, no one vacuumed. Bathroom & bed looked clean. Also I would ask the cleaner who does the lobby etc to maybe use headphones instead of playing music on speaker on his phone. Nothing wrong with music while working! I think it helps efficiency. Invest in a set of headphones.

Hubby Siftball Tournament

Worst hotel I've ever stayed, free breakfast was pathetic, same thick gravy & biscuits served everyday, no eggs, no fruit, no donuts or danish, no honey not even considered a continental breakfast. Stayed 9 days,booked 2 rooms much in advance got good price was going to check out but rates were too high aroubd area so stayed, no security in or around building..sigh on back entry door said must use key to enter but all you had to do was turn door lever & it opened..shady people in lobby & around building. 2nd friend's room had roaches, dirty stained carpet, toilet & tub appeared painted & surface peeling..no housekeeping on certain days, had to make own beds & go to front desk to get clean towels & toiletries..wasn't told of no service. Only one staff member, Joy, was helpful & courtesy. Would not recommend La Quinta West & will never stay there again.

The room was a decent size however, it smelled and the carpet was visibly stained. The pull out bed was horrible.
