Hotel does not honour reservations

I cannot recommend this hotel as they did not honour my reservation for two rooms/two nights (for two couples). Upon arrival we were told that there were no rooms available, notwithstanding my booking. Now I'm attempting to recover the costs from hotels.com without any luck thus far - my request is being reviewed at a snails pace. Skip this hotel and save yourself the hassle.

Hotel does not honour reservations

I definitely do not recommend booking in this hotel. Despite in advance paid booking of 3 rooms in this hotel, there was no room for us when we arrived. The hotel service and manager did not accept our explanations and confirmed reservation and finally we had to look for another accomodation. It was not so easy because of Christmas time in Ethiopia. When we complained services and trying to get our money back, the hotel attested untruth and says that we did not arrived to the hotel on the day of booking. This is not true and we currently complain and as evidence we presented a movie made before entrance at the reception desk of the Bluenile guest house on the day of planned accommodation.
