Everything was amazing. From the facilities to the activities to the staff. Food choices were great and the themed buffet breakfast was tops! And they have a strict no tipping policy, which made things easier. All staff are very friendly! Definitely an awesome experience for us.

The building and pool are great. If you have any dietary requires the food is terrible. The hotel intentionally makes it difficult to get taxis into town as they have their own hire car business. So you have a choice of paying exorbitant hire car prices or eating terrible food. If you look at all the other bad reviews they same the same thing. They need to get an international chef

We booked Plantation Bay Resort to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was truly an excellent choice! We enjoyed the complimentary one-hour bicycle ride — it was perfect for a refreshing ride after breakfast. Although it was a bit disappointing that kayaking is now charged, the staff were incredibly kind and made our anniversary truly special and memorable. Even with so many pools around, the air never felt humid — the whole resort was clean, fresh, and comfortable. There was also a power outage across Mactan Island, but Plantation Bay remained safe and secure, which made us feel even more grateful. No words can fully express how touched we were, but one thing is certain — we’ll definitely be back! 🌴💛

Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay here. Many Pros to be said about the staff and the resort. The resort was comfortable and clean. All the staff was respectful, helpful, and inviting as well as professional. Keith, Margarie, and Jose were absolutely amazing. They offered awesome service and made our stay extra memorable. the only down side for us (which is personal preference to be fair) was that the beds in our room weren't not comfortable and we lacked getting good sleep but overall I still give 5 stars and will be back again soon.

I was very impressed with the lush tropical vegetation, the beautiful salt water lagoon that anchors the property. Love the attentive staff. There were a couple things not working properly in my room one of which was the AC unit but they took care to fix it right away.

I have traveled to the Philippines a few times. This was the worst food I ever ate. Absolutely horrible. The bar also had a 3 drink limit. If you like to eat and drink go to the Bahamas. This place is cheap and the food is awful an the pre mixed 3 drink max is stupid, We ordered food out and are looking to stay somewhere else till we leave
