The room was ok but at 7am Sunday morning loud music playing on the TV - the lobby is way over crowded people waiting on chairs for breakfast, looked like a medical clinic - the room is comfortable, the TV is impossible to restart if turn off, the shower is not really hot water, staff are helpful, in a place handy to super market, dinning has options, more for young people and families that enjoy a beach vibe which you walk to - really the lobby is over crowded with stuff, very good money changer - OK for a night

Staff were helpful and kind, and i feel bad writing this review, but i genuinely had a difficult time staying there due to the rooms smelling heavy of mold. I switched rooms, which felt slightly better but the pillows had black spots and so did the bed sheets. I ended up just leaving 3 days early. I have seen hotels in humid regions where they put a dehumidifier in the rooms. Might not be a bad idea.

We had a problem with the room, air con and TV not working so we were moved to a lesser room (late at night) The next day I met with the manager who was absolutely lovely and we were upgraded to a suite for the rest of the stay. Room are fairly basic but considering the price I think it's good value. I will say the pool/beach club that you get access to is pretty lousy and expensive but the hotel pool and gym is quite nice and so is the restaurant, staff are great too

The beach area provided was very rocky and shallow. If you have tender feet very uncomfortable. Lobby, bar, and restaurant very small. Rooms are very small. The really only plus side was the staff.

I like the area where there are a lot of options for dining and grocery shopping. The hotel room is clean but very small and compact. If you can choose to stay during weekdays, it would be better as there are lesser crowds. Going to the beach is not straightforward. Guests have to collect bracelets and towels at the front desk and surrender their key cards as a deposit. The process could be smoother for guests. The policy should be for the convenience of guests and not for the hotel and their staff.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at Savoy and enjoyed the stay. We had a very attentive room attendant and other staff were great. The room was a Superior Deluxe which we paid to upgrade. The Junior Suites are much nicer but price was too high. The bathroom in the deluxe room has a poor layout as the door swings in and makes it difficult to move around. Next year we will try to book the jr. suite but if unavailable will look elsewhere.
