Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
The condition of the rooms was very poor. We had requested a room on a higher floor, but the message from Expedia never reached the hotel. When we arrived late at night, the lady at reception on the night shift was quite rude. She didn’t even want to look at the confirmation on my phone and immediately told us our room was on the ground floor and that we would have to speak to reception in the morning.
The next day we did, and our request was granted, we were moved to a room on the 2nd floor. However, the condition of the rooms was still very bad. Cleaning was not done properly, and I saw the cleaning staff throwing bed sheets on the ground in the backyard to sort them for cleaning.
Unfortunately, I came home with a severe breakout on my face that required two chemical peels to treat which cost me the same amount we paid for one week accommodation at this hotel…I do not recommend this hotel. The photos they advertise do not reflect reality. The conditions are poor, and during our last four nights we had an invasion of ants, even on the bed. The place is simply not clean.
