About this property

Reina Mora Cabin · Native Forest at the Foot of Champaquí Hill · Bendita Tierra

Reina Mora is one of the cabins at Bendita Tierra, a 5-acre property of native forest at the foot of Mount Champaquí, the highest peak in the Córdoba hills. It's a place to slow down, breathe clean mountain air, wake up to birdsong and spend your days between the pool, the forest and the open sky.

The cabin is named after the Reina Mora, one of the most beautiful birds of the Córdoba hills. The male wears a deep blue plumage with bright blue flashes on its forehead and shoulders, while the female is dressed in warm cinnamon brown. Because of its beauty and song, it has long been captured to be kept in cages, which has put it at risk. We like to think that here, in the forest, it's exactly where it belongs: free and singing. That's the spirit of Bendita Tierra, a place to feel free.

THE CABIN
Reina Mora sleeps up to 5 guests. It has a private bedroom with a double bed and a loft with a second double bed, reached by a staircase (please keep an eye on little ones going up and down).

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking your own meals: cookware, dishes and cutlery for the whole group, a kettle, toaster, juicer and everything you need to prepare a morning coffee or share a mate. There's also an iron, two fans and a hammock to enjoy slow afternoons outdoors.

The cabin is designed to stay naturally cool. Close windows and curtains during the sunniest hours, and open them in the evening to let the mountain breeze flow through. Tap water is safe to drink, so no need to buy bottled water.

THE PROPERTY
Bendita Tierra is much more than a place to sleep. The whole property is yours to enjoy during your stay.

The pool: a 12-meter pool surrounded by nature, perfect for a refreshing swim on warm days, laps in the morning or lazy afternoons in the sun with the mountains as a backdrop.

The horses: horses live on the property and are part of everyday life at Bendita. Watching them graze in the fields at sunset is one of those simple moments guests remember.

For kids: a playground and plenty of open space to run, explore and play outdoors, far from screens and traffic. Families find here the kind of freedom that's hard to get in the city.

Soccer field: a full field for a family match, a game with friends or a kick-around before dinner.

The forest: 5 acres of native forest with chañar, algarrobo, molle and tala trees. Birds are everywhere: if you're patient and quiet, you may spot a Reina Mora yourself.

A FIVE-STAR GUEST EXPERIENCE
We are a small, professionally run place and we take care of every detail personally. From the moment you book until the day you leave, we're here for you: to recommend hikes, help you plan your days in the valley, or simply make sure you have everything you need. Our goal is that every guest leaves feeling rested, cared for and wanting to come back.

Any question, just write to us. No question is ever a bother!

THE AREA
Bendita Tierra is in Villa de las Rosas, in the Traslasierra valley, one of the most beautiful and peaceful corners of Córdoba. The region is known for its clear skies, crystal-clear rivers, stunning sunsets and nights full of stars.

It's a great base for hiking and trekking, including the ascent to Mount Champaquí, swimming in the mountain rivers, horseback riding, visiting local markets and artisan fairs, and tasting regional food. Spring is especially magical here: everything blooms, the air smells of flowers and the forest fills with birds and pollinators.

WHO IT'S FOR
Reina Mora is perfect for couples looking for a quiet getaway, families with kids who want space to play outdoors, and small groups of friends who want to disconnect, enjoy nature and share good moments together.

We prepared this cabin with a lot of love so you can rest, slow down and feel at home. We can't wait to welcome you to Bendita Tierra.
