I almost never write Reviews. I’m a retired veteran and this was a terrible experience. Don’t Book!
The host got upset when I told her that the property pictures were very misleading and that there were a lot of hazards in and outside the property. She locked me and my kids in and left without saying anything. I had to get the Police Department assistance & guidance on how to safely get out of the house. Here’s the conversation between myself and the host after I realized she locked the door and left with the property still in a mess with trash left in the kitchen, bedrooms, & bathrooms still had used loofahs hygiene products.Me: What are you doing. This is not right. You locked us in your property and left without telling us. You locked me and my kids in the his house. I need you to come back so we can discuss this whole situation with the propertyHost: No response.Me: I’ve been waiting for over an hour for you. This house isn’t ready for anyone still.The host would not respond to my calls & text messages, I sent her a text stating the conditions & reasons I’m a would not be staying at her property and why I am canceling I also informed her that I had called the local authorities about being locked in the property. I her know that I had no way to secure her home because she left without giving us the key the main door and the key pad. Police told me to make an attempt to secure the door we got out of as best as possible. Then call and text the host informing her that she needs to come back to secure her property.I don’t recommend this host.
