Good night stop if travel via A7 as the hotel is located just a couple of minutes from the exit. Good commercial area with loads of shops and cheap auchan petrol station to refill. The good part of the stay was the secured car park at the back and the air conditioning working during summer heatwave. Everything else it’s pretty bad, but when paying £50 can’t really expect a lot.

Avignon Nord le Pontet.

Safe parking, friendly and responsive staff. Although their English was limited, they managed to respond accurately to our inquiries. Beeakfast is available for 6.60 euro per person. Near the hotel is Panda buffet with unlimited seafood. Bus access is not easy at first but otherwise it is fast and costs only 1.40 per person fow whole day unlimited transfers.

Ibis Avignon Nord evaluation.

It was a pleasant stay. Located about 3 miles from Avignon center but it is easy to get a taxi to go to the town center where parking is not only expensive but difficult to locate. Breakfast was good and affordable. For lunch or dinner, nearby Panda BUFFET for 15 euro was a big pleasant surprise. Aircon not working but an open window allows a breeze enough to lull u to sleep. Biggest downside was absence of elevator. Biggest plus was safe enclosed parking.

Overnight stay in Avignon

Very good value hotel in outskirts of Avignon, only a car short drive from the city centre. Air conditioned room was clean and comfortable, with a supermarket and various other facilities nearby.

Absolutely delightful

The hard-working desk and other staff are among the most dedicated and hospitable teams I have ever encountered. The breakfast is simple (no cooked items) but fresh, and is well-rounded and all items are of very high quality. Some noise from the hallway (slamming/squeaking doors) was evident, and earplugs may be useful.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura una sola notte (per fortuna). All’entrata per il check-in, siamo stati accolti da un’odore molto sgradevole, perciò avevamo chiesto di poter vedere la stanza prima di pagare, ovviamente questa nostra richiesta non è stata accettata e abbiamo dovuto pagare per vedere la camera. La receptionist era antipatica e poco disponibile. La stanza risultava davvero molto piccola, c’era solo lo stretto necessario per dormire. Il letto matrimoniale era abbastanza comodo, tutt’altro per il letto singolo che, sospeso sopra a quello matrimoniale, era addirittura pericoloso per la troppa vicinanza al soffitto, si rischia di sbattere la testa. Poi abbiamo trovato dei peli sotto il cuscino del letto singolo, e abbiamo preferito dormire in tre nel letto matrimoniale. L’unica cosa positiva era la colazione che, anche se con poca scelta, era buona.
