Whether you're planning a multi-generational family vacation, a relaxing lake getaway with friends, a fishing trip, or a weekend at Virginia International Raceway, our thoughtfully updated lakefront A-frame was designed to bring people together while giving everyone plenty of room to spread out.

Completely updated since 2022, our 2,250-square-foot home features three finished levels, four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two separate living rooms, and some of the fastest internet you'll find anywhere on Hyco Lake with ultra-fast 300 Mbps fiber optic Wi-Fi—perfect for streaming, remote work, gaming, and staying connected throughout your stay.

As you enter the home, soaring A-frame ceilings and expansive windows immediately draw your attention to beautiful views of Hyco Lake. The open-concept main level was designed for gathering, with an oversized sectional surrounding a 55-inch Roku Smart TV with Spectrum cable, a handcrafted Ambrosia maple dining table seating eight, and a fully stocked kitchen featuring a gas range, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker (single-serve pods and traditional drip), cookware, bakeware, spices, cooking oil, coffee pods, and everything needed to prepare meals together. Three additional seats at the kitchen island provide extra dining space.

Two queen bedrooms and a full bathroom are also located on the main level. Each bedroom features ceiling fans, blackout shades, and large windows that fill the rooms with natural light.

The entire upper level is dedicated to the primary suite, creating a peaceful retreat overlooking both the lake and the great room below. The suite features a king bed with a custom handcrafted hardwood headboard built from six different wood species, a cozy reading nook with lake views, and a spacious ensuite bathroom complete with double vanities, a Jacuzzi tub, and walk-in shower.

The fully finished walkout lower level adds another 750 square feet of living space and serves as the home's entertainment hub. Here you'll find a second family room with another Roku Smart TV, a pool table that converts into ping pong, a fourth bedroom featuring a queen bed and twin trundle, a full bathroom with walk-in shower, and a laundry room stocked with detergent and dryer sheets. Luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout this level makes it especially convenient after spending the day on the lake.

Outdoor living is where this home truly shines.

The expansive wraparound Trex deck overlooks Hyco Lake and includes comfortable rocking chairs, a retractable awning for shade, a gas grill with propane provided, and one of our favorite features—a custom handcrafted cedar lakeside dining bar with seating for eight, allowing everyone to enjoy meals together while overlooking the water.

Just below the deck, you'll find another outdoor gathering space with a covered patio and our new fire pit area surrounded by six Polywood Adirondack chairs. It's the perfect place to unwind after a day on the lake while enjoying a quiet evening with family and friends.

A professionally lit concrete walkway leads all the way to the private covered dock, making access to the water easy during both the day and evening.

Our dock sits inside a protected no-wake cove that's ideal for swimming, fishing, floating, paddle sports, and simply relaxing. Guests are welcome to fish directly from the dock, swim using the dock ladder, or tie up a rented boat alongside the dock using the dock cleats. (Our covered boat slip is reserved for the owner's boat.) The dock also features covered seating, lounge chairs, rope lighting, electrical outlets, a water hose, and a convenient serving counter for food and drinks.

For guests bringing their own boat, the Hyco Lake Campground public boat launch is just 2.5 miles away. Several nearby businesses also offer boat rentals throughout your stay.

Our protected cove is one of our favorite parts of the property. It provides calm water that's perfect for families while still offering easy access to the rest of Hyco Lake. Fishing is excellent right from the dock, and Hyco Lake is well known for largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill, sunfish, and striped bass.

One of the things that makes our home unique is its location. You're close enough to enjoy some of the area's biggest attractions while still feeling like you've escaped to a peaceful lake retreat. Virginia International Raceway is only 12 miles (approximately 15 minutes) away, making race weekends incredibly convenient. Caesars Virginia Casino is approximately 25 miles (35 minutes) away for gaming, entertainment, restaurants, and nightlife. Buoy's Bar & Grill—the lake's only boat-accessible restaurant—is just three miles away and offers fuel, ice, live music on many weekends, and a fun atmosphere for both boaters and diners.

For groceries and essentials, several Dollar General stores are located within 10 minutes of the home, while Food Lion and Walmart are approximately 20 minutes away in Roxboro.

Families with young children are welcome. We provide a Pack 'n Play, high chair, baby gate, children's dinnerware, and life jackets to help make traveling a little easier.

Your safety is important to us. Guests enjoy self check-in using a personalized smart lock code generated specifically for each reservation. Smoke detectors are located on all three levels, carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout the home, a fire extinguisher is readily available, and a life ring is located on the dock. Swimming and all lake activities are enjoyed at guests' own risk, and children should always be supervised near the water. Because the water depth near the dock averages approximately 4–5 feet (depending on lake level), diving from the dock is not permitted.

Most importantly, we hope this becomes a place where families reconnect, lifelong friends make new memories, kids spend more time outdoors than on their screens, and mornings begin with coffee overlooking the lake while evenings end around the fire pit under a sky full of stars.
