Overall the hotel was ok, not great, not outstanding, but ok. The cleanliness could be better and an elevator was out of service so these are two areas that need attention. We like to stay at Hampton Inn, but as a chain their standards have declined in recent years. It could be much better.

As a frequent traveler following college football across the country, I’ve come to appreciate the consistency and reliability of Hampton properties. This location near Saint Mary University met expectations across the board. It offers exactly what budget-conscious travelers look for: a clean room, a safe environment, and thoughtful amenities like a designated pet relief area. For those of us traveling with dogs, that’s a big win. We used digital check-in and the digital key, so we went straight to our room without stopping at the front desk. This feature is so convenient and we appreciate the ease of selecting our own room and bypassing the lobby. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable - exactly what you hope for after a long day on the road. The complimentary hot breakfast had plenty of options and everything was fresh, even during the morning rush. Location is another plus: convenient to the university, Leavenworth FCI, and a handful of restaurants and bars. We ate at La Fiesta after the game, one of the few places open late, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality despite it being slow. The area felt safe and well-lit, with no concerns about vehicle break-ins or sketchy activity. This is a solid choice for sports travelers, families, or anyone with a pet. We would absolutely stay here again.

Staff was great. Breakfast was very good and hotel was clean. Probably could have used a couple of extra pillows but didnt ask. Pool was clean and given extra towels. If you go to the off site bar behind the hotel, bring cash, and enjoy the view.

Over all the staff and property were good. Hot water took a long time to come through the sink in the bathroom. Lisa in the front office was great. Breakfast was just what you get in the hotels when it’s complimentary.
