This hotel is difficult to be positive about. The location is in easy walking distance to the old town and its many fine churches. But we had difficulty finding it and when we paused for just two minutes to ask directions in a restricted area we think we may have been given a ticket. It will likely be in the amount of €100 or so and sent to us through the car rental company in about a year. We phoned the owner and he explained that we should park in a blue zoned space we might find around the park. We did find one on this busy, hot Sunday afternoon a long distance away. The hotel does provide parking in an off-site private lot but it is inaccessible until after check-in. We encountered a second annoying problem upon checking out when their credit card reader proved to be out of order. We were just short of being able to pay in cash so we had to walk some distance to find a cash machine. The owner was never on site. The staff that provided breakfast, etc. were very nice and tried to be helpful but they were expected to do too much. The owner should provide specific directions in writing to help guests navigate around this difficult location.
