This Econolodge has an excellent location. For a very reasonable price, you are close to all the culture of Lenox and the rest of the Berkshires and you have Lake Laurel and October Mountain a short distance away. It's on a main road, so it's very easy to get where you're going, but traffic at night is minimal, so it's easy to get a peaceful rest. The basic amenities are very good: reliable wifi, tv with many cable channels, and a continental breakfast. It's not luxurious, but it's a great value. Spend your money on a fancy restaurant or Tanglewood tickets and just crash here!

It was in a good location. We paid a very high price due to a concert at Tanglewood. I imagine the rooms were very dated but clean. We were given a bottle of wine and a little gift bag with goodies , which was very nice . They really should update the rooms and the outside of the building.

We stopped for just a few hours to sleep, but came in after midnight. The gentleman at the desk was incredibly accommodating with waiting for us to check in. The bed was surprisingly way more comfortable than other more expensive hotels we’ve stayed in and the room was very clean. Water pressure for the shower was great and there was a reasonable continental breakfast available upon checkout.

firstly listed at great barrington but really 12 to 15 minutes from town , i got spider bites on my foot from sleeping , not fun , i waited almost an hour for a staff member to fix my tv remote , and to add insult to injury i had to leave a day early due to up coming inclement weather, and of course had to pay for the extra day . i know thats on me . i should have booked just one day , i could have stayed a second day and paid then if the weather cooperated due to the site was mostly vacant . i could have saved 150 bucks . so lessened learned , i won’t be back there when i travel in september. hope this helps someone .
