The staff were very lovely, helpful and humble, like all the balinese people are! The room was fair condition. I wasn't fussy though as i was travelling alone. The major downside was that i went for a rest and reprieve holiday but unfortunately with this being my first time in Bali, I didn't know that the Palette Hotel is right in front of a bar that has DagQueen Karaoke, EVERYSINGLE NIGHT, from roughly 7:45pm until roughly 11:30pm!!! So i didn't get the peaceful evenings in my room that i was so looking forward too! Very dissapointed by that. Free breakfast included. Wasn't the greatest food and small portions. However it was free included, so i was still happy with it. I wouldn't recommend to stay qith children or for a relaxing time. Good if you want to party or stay up late everynight.

I had paid for my stay in full a couple of months prior to arrival, and let the hotel know I would Be arriving around midnight ( I had paid for that night) . My son and I arrived and they had sold our rooms for a higher rate. This left my son and I with know where to stay for the night as they had no rooms left. They tried to fix the situation with shipping us to their sister hotel for the night in Sanur, promised us they would make a room available the next day. However, their sister hotel was an hour away from where I had paid to be, wasn’t that pleasant (dirty) I spent the next day sorting new accommodation for my son and I. Glad I decided to move asap - I do not recommend staying or booking this hotel!

Staff are great, rooms kept clean. Showing signs of wear and is under new ownership. I certainly hope it survives and thrives! Ask for a quiet room 302 is a good choice.

Very good hotel but could be better Bar restaurant is underused due to being overpriced in comparison to other local places, I only went in the once and they had no beer,which is something other reviewers have mentioned, never went in again Very simple to sort out,shame because it’s a nice bar That aside,I’m more than happy to stay there again Despite the noise from the bar,only up to 11:30 But it’s loud

The staff fantastic and very considerate and helpful, room clean pool always clean but the decking and lounge chairs are very dirty and old needs replaced and cleaned with cushions on all pool sun chairs, had a very sore back after lay on the sun lounges, the Hotel is always full with travelers so looking after them and making our stay more comfortable should be considered and up grade on the pool area is in very high demand thanks 🙏

I think it should be expressed that if you are going to stay here, you have to be a person that goes to bed late. The show drag queen show goes until midnight and for me the first few nights I was there. It only sucked because I was sick and could not go out anywhere so the music kept me up for those three days Otherwise great place.

This property was perfect for a solo traveler. The room was clean, with great air conditioning and facilities. While it can get a bit noisy in the evenings from the bars across the road, it didn’t affect my stay at all. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, and having a 24-hour reception was especially convenient for my late arrival.

Clean hotel but a little old and tired. Can’t praise the staff at the Zest highly enough, they were lovely - I unfortunately got sick while staying here and had to get a doctor - reception called to check up on me and see how I was feeling after me make sure I was okay - the staff were friendly and always greeted you with a smile. The only major drawback is the bar accross the road blasting loud music from 8pm-midnight. If you are a night owl and go out to party in the evening then it’s not an issue, but if you want rest and quiet this isn’t the place for you

Quiet roof top swimming pool short walk to beach.. bar shopping at the doorstep. For $40nzd a night U can't expect the ritz. .fantastic value highly recommend.
