Majestic Mountain is a new 3 Bedroom 2 Bath home nestled away on 6 acres at 2700' on the top of a private mountain with views all the way to The Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, the property is conveniently located just 15 minutes from I40 and within 20 minutes to beautiful downtown Asheville where you will enjoy all the different varieties of food and entertainment. Asheville is also known for its art district where you will find some of the most beautiful artwork created by local artists.
You will fall in love with all the nature you can handle with this property, surrounded by National Parks you can take in the inspiring beauty of over 270 waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest, you will also be able to enjoy hiking or biking the many trails in the area.
You can jump on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and stop and take in all the inspiring views of the peaks and valleys of Western North Carolina at the many overlooks. Don't forget to grab a kayak and spend a day going down the beautiful French Broad River or one the many waterways in the area.
Even though you are nestled away on top of a private mountain you can still enjoy all the amenities of home with a convenience store only 7 minutes away and a major grocery store (Ingles) with a Starbucks in it only 10 minutes away, and all while being only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville where you can take in one of the many local eateries, Asheville is known for having a wonderful variety of local restaurants with some of the best food you will find.
The house has all you need to feel like you are at home with everything to enjoy your stay. The living room has seating for 6 with a 55" Flat Screen TV and views of the mountains. The dining room seats 6 also with mountain views 3 bar stools that are in a fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of dishes and cookware. A washer and dryer are on-site as well. The Master bedroom has a King size bed, 42" TV, walk-in closet and en-suite. Bedroom #2 has a Queen Size bed, closet, dresser, 32" TV and views of the mountains. Bedroom #3 has 2 Twin beds, walk-in closet, 32" TV and mountain views. Enjoy all the beautiful mountain views from a fully outfitted extra-large deck that has a table with 4 cushioned chairs and 4 rocker/swivel chairs with cushions for seating for up to 8. All you need is your desire to get away from a busy life and relax in a beautiful mountain retreat.

You are renting the upstairs area only as the basement is storage.

Please note that the property is at the top of the mountain so driving up is a little steep.
If you know how to drive in the mountains then this really isn’t an issue, take your time and drive up at around 7-9 mph you will go right up.

This was a fabulous place to stay! Close to Asheville, Great Smokey Mtns, Biltmore, Blue Ridge, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and so much more. It was super clean and had everything we needed from games to cooking to hanging out. The view is awesome. The sky is dark at night for stargazing, and it is very quiet at night. The owner was quite responsive. If the opportunity presents, I would 100% rent this property again.

Mountain Stay

The house was beautiful, hidden gem. It was away from the hustle and bustle of town. Close to Asheville. Must have a four wheel or all wheel to get up as the owner stated. It was worth the drive up. The porch was amazing. Thank you so much for our stay.

Beautiful mountain property

Overall we had a very nice stay. The actual home was very nice and well equipped for our long weekend stay (4 friends celebrating milestone birthdays). Comfortable beds, nice linens, nice furniture for lounging. The kitchen had a few spices and was nicely equipped for breakfasts/meals. The view was very beautiful. I want to emphasize that this property is on a mountain road - we unfortunately arrived at night and it was a little scary trying to find the property as it’s on a hairpin turn which we could not see. It would have been a different experience coming in the daytime - I do not recommend arriving at night! I also recommend getting a SUV which thankfully we had. We found it easier to turn left coming up the circle instead of going straight up to access the driveway. Luckily the host did answer our call and tried to help us navigate. We also went hiking one day and arrived home to find the power and water out. It had been raining which apparently was the cause but the host was also traveling so it took a little bit of time to get a hold of her and figure out what was going on - all in all it was resolved in about an hour but it put a bit of a damper on the vacation especially when we were sweaty and anxious to shower! We felt like we could get most places we wanted, including Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Asheville, in reasonable amounts of time, and to the grocery store quickly and lots of restaurant options within 20ish minutes.

Absolutely incredible stay and host!

Wow, we had an absolute incredible stay. The drive up was enchanting. The mountains, farms, and serene surroundings made our road trip so worth it. We also drove our Tesla Model Y and was able to charge during our stay using an extension cord. The view is absolutely breathtaking during all times of the day. The place is much more than that however. She does such a great job keeping everything very clean and tidy. All your amenities and even spices are there! We were very grateful for our welcome gift as well. Plus the mattress was sooo comfortable! Thank you again for such an incredible stay. Hope to be here again in the summer!

Gorgeous Mountain Home Near Asheville

Our family spent Thanksgiving in this beautiful home with views of the mountains and valley. Nikki was a wonderful host and extremely responsive. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen included everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking and playing board games together. The wrap around deck was so great to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and star gaze at night. I highly recommend this property!

Epic weekend

Fall in the Western NC mountains is amazing and staying at this place was icing on the cake. It was a great mountain get away. Definitely want a vehicle that’s good on steep dirt roads. My Grand Cherokee was just fine.

Clean spacious house with an AMAZING view, remote but close to everything!

We had an amazing time at this property as a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) looking for a spot that would easily accommodate our family, would offer great views, but not far from the Asheville attractions. This house completely fit the bill. It is 20 minutes to any attraction in the Asheville area but when you're at the house, you can't see any other houses, you have an AMAZING view of the valley below, and you really feel like you're in a retreat. The house is new, clean, spacious, great layout to spread out. The owner was very communicative. We had ZERO problems while we were there. The drive up to the house is quite an adventure but we had no problems with it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!

Beautiful home, all the amenities you could possibly need, and let’s not forget that amazing view. Pictures are accurate. Drive up to the home is steep, but that is expected with a home at the top of a mountain. Parking area is extremely tight for turning around, but we were able to manage with a Ram2500 and a Yukon. We would stay again.

Best of Both Worlds

As advertised! Beautiful and clean all around with a fully stocked kitchen. Nikki was easy to communicate with and readily available if we needed anything. We were here for a girls trip and it was perfect! Lots of time was spent outside on the porch talking and catching up while taking in the amazing views. It was a private, peaceful and quiet mountain getaway. When we did want to go to town, we were only about 10min to a great Ingles grocery, and about 25min to downtown Asheville and all it has to offer with shopping and dining. This place truly provided the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds!

Gorgeous, Peaceful Property

Everything was perfect. The house was absolutely spotless with all new finishes and comfortable furniture. The view stole the show. Every day we were greeted with a different view of the beautiful Blueridge mountains. We spent hours rocking on the deck and it was so quiet and peaceful. Communication with the property manager was great, we had one question during our stay and it was answered in under 5 minutes.

Beautiful Property

We stayed at the property with our two 8 year old boys, and everyone enjoyed the house. The house was clean and well appointed. It is just about 20 minutes outside Asheville and sits at a high elevation with a very nice view. I spent hours on the porch enjoying the sounds of birds and taking in the Mountain View. The owner was very responsive to any request. You must travel up a steep gravel drive to access the property, but it should be no problem for any SUV. Cars would probably be fine too, but I felt more comfortable in our Toyota Sequoia.
